Clean and comfortable with a complimentary breakfast. Stayed here for a couple nights during a group tour. They have a nice sized indoor pool, an outdoor hot tub that kind of works, and a gym. A nice walking path with outdoor exercise stations along the way and also bike rentals.

I have family on the Island, so I have been here too many times to count. Believe me when I say it isn’t easy to find decent accommodations here for a reasonable price. North Winds is one of the few that is both a great place to stay and relatively inexpensive. We booked a suite with a king sized bed and Jacuzzi. North Winds consists of a few different buildings. The building we booked into had been built with the sun in mind. We got the sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning. We had a beautifully sun-flooded room with its own little deck(which could have used someone brushing away the spiderwebs before our arrival). Our room was really nice. Everything was clean and well-organized. We had a full kitchen, complete with oven. The shower has two shower heads, which would have been great if there had been water pressure. I can’t hold that against the hotel as the entire island is lacking in water pressure. :-D The clerk at check-in was friendly and helpful, and when we had difficulty getting the TV to work he came to help right away(just a loose wire, fortunately). You’re in the country, so expect real peace and quiet. I could only hear crickets when we went to bed. It was lovely. I would recommend this inn to just about anyone. There is an outdoor hot tub, a gym and a play area for kids. There is also a restaurant on site, although it was closed for the season. A really great place to stay.
