Not up to McDonald’s standards. Understaffed, poorly designed, washrooms needed attention — but good luck with that! whenever a washroom is shared between two establishments(in this case UFA), it’s probably a case of… not my problem. I would not stop here again. It could have been a case of an uncommon rush, but why have the pop dispensing exactly where people line up, and why make people push through the line up to find the washroom? The layout of this McDonalds is one of the worst I’ve seen. And all I wanted was an iced coffee!

If cleanliness, prompt service & order accuracy aren’t a priority, then this is the place for you. Tables, trays & floors are disgusting. DONOTEVENTHINKABOUTGOINGINTOTHEBATHROOM!!! I actually felt like I needed a shower after walking into this restaurant.

Well, I don’t think that I’ll be eating here again. I’m staying at a hotel near by so I’ve eaten here a few times, and over all I would say that the staff doesn’t seem to pay much attention to detail and they move at a pretty slow pace.

To the young man who was working this evening: When someone approaches the counter, the correct response is «Hello, can I take your order», not, *blank stare”…uhhh…*blank stare*. Also: when someone pays you and is due $ 0.99 change, logic would dictate that perhaps you should give them a loonie instead of counting out the $ 0.99, but I applaud your attention to detail on the most mundane and trivial things imaginable. Next time, swap your attention span from counting pennies to greeting me and I might leave a better review. And while I recognize this is McDonalds and critiquing their food is more or less an exercise in futility, my burger came sloppily assembled and my fries looked like they had barely seen the inside of that greasy, greasy fryer. But what more can you expect from a place run by a bunch of high school kids? I’m just impressed I didn’t get violent food poisoning.

This brand new McD’s — sorry McCafe — is is still sparkly clean and the staff still smiling and helpful. We stopped for a bit of a rest stop and were pleasantly surprised. I tried a fruit smoothie and thought it was the healthiest thing I’d had from McD’s in a long time. Good mango flavour.(Later found out it is more than 450 calories, so there must be lots of sugar or high fat yogurt). Washrooms are nice. No play place for kids, so not the best place to stop during a family road trip. There are signs of a patio out in the parking lot that is shared with a truck stop gas station and a Harley Davidson. Perhaps the least inviting patio location I’ve ever seen.
