Business Owner

A lawyer by trade, Steven practiced corporate and commercial law before deciding to devote his full attention to dealing in numismatics and precious metals in 1992. He is now President and CEO of Canadian Coin & Currency Corp., based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, providing numismatic and precious metals products to collectors and investors alike.

Steven’s professional memberships and affiliations include the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers, the Canadian Numismatic Association, the Ontario Numismatic Association, the Canadian Paper Money Society, the American Numismatic Association and the Society of Paper Money Collectors.

I am a serious and passionate collector and met with a top person named Alfredo with the company in order to have them look at and buy some coins. I am one of the top collectors in the country.
Due to them being on the shopping network I felt they had the proper credentials to assist me.
Alfredo saw me and said he was looking forward to viewing some coins he has never seen before.
He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me about, purchasing, or what interest they had in my collection if any. I was willing to bring it in or whatever worked for them.
He advised me he would get back to me no matter what.
Well, I have yet to hear back from this promise. He advised that a collector will never get what they paid for the coins and they were the best company to deal with. I understand they have to have a profit margin. I was left with the impression they were a good company, however, I now am left with my talk and no call back that the company is only interested in making easy quick money off coins people inherit and don’t want any part of.
I knew much about coins and collecting and knew of credible people in the field of coins.
The only impression I was left with is because they can’t take advantage of me for a quick buck they were not interested.
As to date. no correspondence from them.
A chance to view, own or buy a major collection and not even a return phone call.
Coins their passion, I disagree, just quick money or your ignored.
