I had a terrible experience at this Salon (currently located at Gibson Square). My ‘stylist’ was Cody and not only did not listen to what I requested, he was rude, egotistical and abrasive. I explained I had been growing out my hair for 2.5 years and that I want to maintain my length. I was possibly open to facial framing (my previous stylist did it and I liked it, I could do without, but since my hair is dark I figured it would add some interest) He boastfully said he does facial framing differently and implied he could do it better, I asked him to explain and his description sounded like something I’d like. What he did was nothing close to facial framing. All he did was insert a huge number of choppy, disconnected layers that fall CONSTANTLY in my face and do not make for an elegant look it’s all uneven, disconnected and UNNATURAL looking. When I saw him cutting huge portions, I asked him to stop and he wouldn’t have any of it. In fact he told me to let him finish what he was doing! I really should have just yelled for him to stop immediately and walked out. Finally the manager, Adja asked what was wrong, I explained what happened and she advised Cody has communication problems and it’s something ‘they’re working’ on. Well hell, if that’s the case he shouldn’t be on the floor messing with people’s hair. He was very uncouth, didn’t apologize once and made me feel as though it should be an honour that I was sitting in his chair. I’ve never met a junior stylist that was so full of himself. Please think twice before booking with Cody.

Fiorio’s stylists are very professional and the service is impeccable. I always get my haircut with Evan. He is very attentitve to your needs and produces amazing results every single time. I always get compliments on my hair after I see him! He is very talented and my appointments are always a great experience.
I recently got an ombré colour treatment with Desiree. She has loads of experience and made me feel really comfortable with what she was doing (It was the first time I coloured my hair in 10 years). I absolutely loved how she transformed my hair!
I highly recommend this salon!

My favourite hair stylist — Hal has just moved from the Yorkville Fiorio location and has been taking ownership of this Fiorio for the past little while.
I’m truly going to be sad when I move downtown again as I’ve been coming to him religiously for the past ~2 years now. His haircuts have been so perfect I cannot even begin to bring myself to even consider anyone else’s cuts decent.
This location has awesome staff and every time I come here I hear of more customers leaving with a huge smile on their face, thanking the staff again and again.
The Richmond Hill /​Markham area is lacking decent places for haircare as it’s all either tailored for the asian population or are crappy 10 minute cut shops in the multitude of malls around the area.
Fiorio isn’t always the cheapest but you know when you come here you’re going to get a good cut.
