Let’s Make It!

We got the groupon for the soap making class and it turned out to be so much more than that. We ended up making bath bombs, hand scrubs, and lip balms as well. The woman who was running the class was very knowledgeable and helpful. You get to choose your colours and scents for your products and there are a lot to choose from.
It was a lot of fun making the hand scrub and it’s probably my favourite thing to use out of all the things I took home. Everything smells amazing but the scrub leaves my hands feeling so soft even when I only use a little bit at a time. I went last month and I still have quite a bit left. Totally worth it.

Highly recommend it as a girls night out.
We didn’t exactly make soaps, it was more like we were given ingredients to mix together, put scent and colour in and that’s it. It was fun, relaxing and knowledgeable overall.
It was a room full of girls and the instructor was great at telling us about soap, what a natural soap is all about. In the end, they provided tools for us to make our products packaged like the pros.
As mentioned on the pictures, the hardest part was deciding what scent to use, because you have to pick for your soap, bath bombs, hand scrub and lip balm. There were so many scents to choose from!
You can find a deal on Groupon, or you can ask if they’ll honor the Groupon price and you just pay them directly.
They said they are mobile. If you organize a big group, they can come to you and charge about $ 25 per person. I guess it’s if you have a really large group.
The only thing I highly suggest is before you use the soap, test it on small area of your skin. I got a crazy reaction to it, making my skin really dry and itchy. But, a couple of my friends who used the soap are fine with it. So ya, just be careful with that part if you have a crazy sensitive skin.
Last note, if you’re attending the class, or any class for that matter, please come early or at least be on time. When people are late, everyone has to wait. That’s not cool.

I took the soap making course and had a blast! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and knowledge of this course. It is an excellent choice for a unique activity.

So when I saw that there was a Groupon available to make soap, you can bet that my inner Tyler Durden started to jump for joy! I went here on Nov 28 2015 and had an awesome time! The workshop, titled ‘Soap and More…’ is really cozy/​friendly and hands on. Participants will make: soap, bath balls, hand scrub, and lip balm!
Also, the instructor is awesome and super friendly.
Tips:
* If you are scent sensitive– this may not be your cup of tea.
* Wear casual/​comfy clothing
* There is free parking available all over that side of Yonge street.

Did a soap making class with my girlfriend this past weekend! We had a blast! There was so much more than just soap! We were taught ways to make the products, and physically made them. A very hands on evening, with a final product you can take home! The instructor was very knowledgable and fun. She took the time to learn each persons name and, to my amazement, remembered the names and used them throughout the class. The materials used allow for all natural products, with your choice of scent and colour. We were given packaging for the soaps as well as containers for the scrubs, bags for the tea bath bags, and cool lip balm containers for the lip balm!
The studio is located in downtown Richmond Hill and very easy to find.
We are very happy with our experience and will be looking into other classes at Lets Make It.
