I come to nandos to eat a couple times a year because they have really tasty chicken and good peri– peri sauce My boyfriend and I ordered the double leg chicken plate and garlic bread with salad as well The chicken size is a lot smaller than other chicken places but flavour is so good, they have different hotness levels and they all have great flavour. We got glasses of water but the glass had so many water spots on it you would barely see through it. So I had to ask for new glasses. Our garlic bread was brought to the wrong table and because the table started eating it we had to wait for more garlic bread. The price is alright The place has a really nice atmosphere, nice décor Service was alright aswell

Ive only came to Nando’s a handful of times, but i would always choose it over swiss chalet. I love the peri peri flavour that comes out the chicken. Also, don’t forget to try the peri-peri fries! At the side they have mild, medium, hot, and garlic peri-peri sauce to add one. Must try! If you like spicy food go right for the hot. PRICE: $$ The price is about what you would pay at swiss chalet, but i feel like the chicken is a bit smaller. Ive attached a photo of the menu for you to look at. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Its not like your traditional restaurant where they take your order at your seat. If you’d like take out, you order at the front, and if you want to dine-in the server will seat you and give you a table number. You then can look at the menu at your table and go up to the front to place your order and pay. *Don’t forget your table number*. The servers are hard to get sometimes and i had to go up to the front to ask for a few things. I give the customer service a 3.5÷5

I always go there and the service is pretty good. I love their sauces and the food is amazing. Tonight we went and I received my chicken not well cooked. I have returned it back for them to make it well done and they did it. Please cook your chicken well.

I had very high expectations, I was somewhat disappointed. I was expecting a nice juicy tasting chicken with seasoning… And the chicken was so plain, I couldn’t finish it. Peri peri fries were okay, fries should be crispy not soft. And the mashed potato was good. It was a one time place, I tried it, now I don’t think I’ll go back.

Location: Located in a plaza off of Yonge Street. Fee parking, very bus accessible because its close to a viva stop! . Décor: It is bright with lots of window. A very small crowded dine in place. The order part is a small area when you watch in. I’m a big line up orderly person and ordering here sometimes gives me a wee bit anxiety. Line ups are sometimes not followed. Getting food: When you order and stay in, you go and sit and they bring you your food. OK. Once again anxiety, food doesn’t necessarily come to people in the order that you ordered. The Food: It is great. The chicken in the peri peri sauce is delicious. It’s rotisserie. Succulent and flavourful. You can get it in different spices. I like mild, I’m a bit of a heat wimp. You get a number of choices for sides, I always pick the corn. It’s spicy and juicy. Yum. You can get plain bread or garlic bread. You can’t go wrong with either choice. The bread is soft and heart. I really like it. Salads are hearty and filling too. The thing I love getting here is the chicken livers. You get a bowl of them they are spicy and are perfect paired with the bread. They do a really big take out business. I’d say 90% of the orders while we were there were take out. Conclusion: It’s great food for a fast food place. Reasonably priced too. I think it literally has something for everyone.

Unpleasant experience for the past few consecutive times we’ve been here this year. Corn was not fresh. Chicken wings were dry. Coleslaw had a weird foul taste. The dining area was not clean. Surely, we will not go back. The only good food they had was the garlic bread. If you want to eat at Nando’s, go to Downtown instead.

The chicken is definitely juicy and flavourful. It’s definitely a step up from your typical Swiss Chalet rotisserie chicken. There were a variety of sides to choose from, but the rice dish had a kind of weird taste to it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend the rice for a side.

Love the peri peri spicy chicken! Got a full chicken and me and my girlfriend finished it! Their peri peri wedges are one of the best in towns! And the delicious tart to finish off a great meal! We will be back again! Great service as well!

Nando’s has been my go to chicken spot for years! I absolutely love their BBQ style chicken & obviously the famous sauces! Way better than Swiss Chalet style chicken in my opinion. The ordering style can be a little confusing for first time visitors so don’t be shy to ask questions. Recently this location has been renovated & I enjoy the bright atmosphere it has now. I only wish they didn’t change their coleslaw! It was very heavy with mayo & not crispy like the previous one. I did tell the manager on duty who was more than happy to switch the coleslaw to garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes have been improved & they are delicious! After writing this review I’m craving some Nando’s right now!

Solid chicken place at a reasonable price. Chicken and hot sauces are the stars, the sides are not. Went to Nando’s and tried a half chicken, and a variety of hot sauces. The chicken skin has a good crispness to it, and the chicken was tasty. The garlic hot sauce was amazing. I was dipping my potato wedges in it too. The sides are less than stellar. The portions for the peas and some of the veggies is pretty small. And the peas didn’t have much going on to them. Though I respect that they were firm, so they were probably fresh? Maybe? But they were probably too firm… The potato wedges came in a huge portion. If you are sharing a meal, that is definitely a side worth considering. But they weren’t anything special. But they also didn’t taste that unhealthy for you and were probably baked. So that is a plus. If I had kids and a family, I could definitely see taking them here, as it’s decent quality food at a reasonable price. But I wasn’t blown away to the point where I have to run back. Though if someone gifted me some of their garlic hot sauce I’d be pretty pleased.

This place is amazing, better then KFC, Swiss Chalet, and Popeyes. I wish the chicken was a little larger but that is my only complaint. Chicken is always juicy and cooked to perfection. It is always spiced perfectly too if you decide to get it a little hotter then plain. The side dishes are also good, especially the garlic bread, and potatoes. Let’s not forget to give a shoutout to their amazing nando’s sauces for the chicken-my favourite being the garlic sauce. Placing an order for pickup is quick and delicious, and in house dining is also quick with friendly service at the front. I will be back soon, so glad it is down the street from my house :)

It was my first time trying out NANDOS. I was quite the pleasant experience. The chicken was juicy and tender with the unique peri peri sauce. I would come back just for the sauce ! Though it was on the pricey side but it was well worth it ! Great food and staff

This place was just newly decorated. It is brighter and more modern looking with more space. They added an unlimited drink station which is a bonus. The chicken is very good and you can put your own level of heat. Live the rice and potato wedges for sides. The family packs are a great deal for 3 – 4 people. Service is excellent but you tip before you get your food and I’m not sure if the money gets to the right people.

Amazing chicken… but terrible service! My last visit, the waitress spilled the coleslaw all over the table, my phone and my pants. Accidents happen, but she didn’t even apologize! I was too hungry to care but I just thought that wasn’t very good customer service. The garlic peri-peri sauce made it all worthwhile… mmmmmmm.

Pretty decent place if your looking to eat somewhere casual but not as casual as fast food. They have good grilled chicken with of course their famous peri peri sauce. The portion of the plates are inadequate for it’s price. For a half chicken plate with two small sides cost about $ 20. The extra hot peri peri sauce is extremely hot for those spice lovers! Definitely a place to try but not sure if it’s to die for!

The chicken is alright, but not outstanding. Everything about this place is kinda forgettable. I mean, it’s just nando’s, only come here if it’s convenient and you’re craving chicken. The«hot» sauce is not even remotely hot, and the other sauces were alright. The value is not that great either. We got the family deal that comes with corn and bread, but in retrospect we could have gotten more food for the same money from the dim sum and chicken section at t&t in the same plaza. Nando’s = meh.

Why haven’t I come here in so long, and why haven’t I written a review for this place yet? So when someone mentions Nando’s to me, it usually brings up pretty fond memories of dining my family and with my friends in Dubai. This place is a huge chain that’s peppered through East Africa and the Middle East. Flame Grilled Portuguese chicken married with east african bird’s eye chili’s.for the masses(so it’s not super spicy.)(I once had a really horrible experience with the bird’s eyes that involved me not being able to take my hands out of ice cold water for two days) Anyways, past time’s I’ve been here I’ve been really underwhelmed. The Canadian version is missing a few key elements that I’m used to, but that can just be attributed to the fact that Dubai does everything way over the top. Anyways, I came back here a few days ago with my friend who really had the same memories I did, and wanted to check it out. We decided to get the sharable plate for 2(or 3 I guess) which had 1) The Whole Chicken — I guess they use the term«whole» quite loosely, but it came with two leg quarters and two breast pieces. The legs were really good, but I was sooo surprised with the breasts! They were PERFECTLY juicy and stuff. OMG. I was expecting dryness because honestly I don’t think I’ve ever had bbq breast that wasn’t dry. SOGOOD. We ordered it medium because my friend was scared, but it wasn’t spicy So good though. 2. Large Side — We got the peri peri fries. It was really good fries tossed in a peri peri salt. Yummy. 3. The Garlic Bread — SOGOOD. It may look like a small portion from the pic but that’s because we devoured half of them before the other food came. SOGOOD. 4. The sauces were AMAZING. My favourite was the Xtra Hot and the Garlic Sauce. Soooo good. This place is a lot better than it was before. There were a lot more serviers and people working this time than what I remember, so I guess business is booming! They had a pretty steady stream of customers while we were there(around 6.30 on a Thursday night) We were definitely full for the rest of the day. Will defo be back (We paid approx 32 with tax + tip sans drinks)
