Phyllis Rawlinson Park is the largest Oak Ridges Moraine park at 89.5 acres in the Town of Richmond Hill located just North of 19th Ave on Leslie Road. The park have a lot of history and a more wilderness setting compare to most of the other parks in the area. Interesting area includes Robert Holland Interpretive Centre, George Forster House, Community Allotment Garden and the original farmhouse and barn(York Region’s oldest designated buildings). Celebration Forest — Community Tree Dedication Program also available for $ 150 a tree to to commemorate special occasion. Phyllis Rawlinson Park is the only park in the Town equipped with barbecue facilities and fire pit. There is also a off leash dog park on site too! So Phyllis Rawlinson Park is a great park to take the whole friend including your dogs to spend a nice spring afternoon. A piece of nature that is close to the city!
