Richmond Hill Centre Terminal

Lots of bus and train services from this transit station.
One can get to downtown Toronto, Oshawa, Pickering, Toronto Pearson airport, Markham, Newmarket and Finch station.
Covered waiting area to shield you from the elements, they recently installed new more powerful heaters in the waiting area.
There is a pedestrian bridge that connects to the Langstaff go station if you need to take a train downtown.
Washrooms are surprisingly clean for a transit terminal.
Lots of free parking as well. The lot is usually less hectic then the one across the bridge. If taking the train I would just park here and walk across the bridge.

Ahh, the central terminal in Richmond Hill (ironically, just several feet from the Markham border) where you’re cornered in a ramp and where it’s hard to access by foot.
Considering lots of busy routes go by here daily, it’s a little shocking how there’s a lack of amenities such as washrooms or snack stalls. Well, they’re building a washroom at the north end at the time I wrote this… but still a lack of a snack stall.
The waiting area is terrible as well with a lack of a full sized «indoor area»…which is easily exposed by two automatic doors, and since it’s located in a wide open space you’re not very protected by most weather extremities. This terminal has gone under construction three times since it opened in 2005 and it’s still cold as hell during winter… great use of our tax dollars eh?
At least they installed a screen in one of the indoor waiting areas showing when the next YRT/​Viva buses come in all the different platforms…

Up at York Region without any subway services, people living here has to rely on driving around or travel using the buses.
Richmond Hill Centre Terminal is one of the hubs of a lot of bus services: Go transit, YRT, VIVA.
Airport express #40 leaving from the station to Toronto Pearson Airport every hour from 5 AM to 2 AM daily which is really convenient if you living in the area and couldn’t get a ride.
