30 yrs. as a Portrait Artist. 20yrs. Graphic Design. 10 yrs. in studies and documenting in the field of photography.

History

Established in 1980.

Jacqueline started Portraiture’s in 1976 1979 took Illustration for 1 yr at Sheridan College in Brampton Ontario. Started freelancing in 1980 in traditional art pieces. In 1996 schooled in Graphic Design for 2 yrs. Worked as Graphic editor at Teldon Internation and various printing and graphic Design shops. Worked part time and for individual clients. Continued freelancing. 2005 Started to create stock photography for references for my paintings and Illustrations. Series of photography course and continue education. Have been teaching in the grade schools as a guest artist for elementary schools and group classes. Now set up in Richmond BC

Business Owner

Jacqueline Price was Born in Toronto Ontario. Moved to BC in 1983.

«I can not remember when I started to wanted to copy life. I was always examining shadows, highlights, color, shape, textures and design. I remember sitting on the front porch when I was not even in school, watching tiny little red spiders darting all over the cement steps. I was just fascinated by their amazing features. Very early in school I learned to master drawing in realism. First with the pencil medium then in different traditional mediums such pen and ink, watercolor and acrylic. Since acquiring skills in computer graphics, I now do computer paintings for my illustrations and portraiture’s. I love working with others and love sharing skills to those who want to learn more.»
