My friend and I came for dinner on our way back to the US. We came hungry, a rude Chinese cashier seems unhappy to see us. She spoke loudly to all of us and went back right away. The worst experience in Vancouver.

Le seul inconvénient pas assez de place pour pouvoir accueillir tout le monde Une file d’attente à l’américaine où l’on tourne en rond. Sinon un burger est toujours appréciable.

How wrong can you possibly go with a crispy chicken sandwich? Very, very wrong at the Vancouver Airport Burger King. The patty was practically cremated and the bun was actually difficult to bite through. Minuscule fries with the standard combo. Don’t eat here even if it’s the last place open before your flight. It’s just not worth it. A bag of peanuts your flight is a better option.

Grabbed a chicken sandwich and fries and wolfed down before boarding my flight back to Washington Dulles. Ordered it with add cheese and onions, plus a bottle of water. The sandwich and fries were tasty as fast food goes. However, I’m wondering if this can truly be called«Fast Food?» I’ve never seen such slowness. It seemed like half the people in line had to engage in a lengthy negotiation with the cashier in order to place their order. Two ladies in front of me took about 5 minutes to pay for some reason. They spent considerable time rummaging through their purses — determining how they were going to pay. I came very close to going up to the register and buying their meal in order to get the line moving! On top of that — one guy was expediting the orders, and manning both the fry and drink stations. Slow, slow, slow service!

What you have no more crowns! When did this happen. It makes me sad. At least they still serve veggie burgers. I am still happy about that. Customer service was polite, however, it took them a minute or two to understand what it was that I was requesting. Tables were all messy. Understaffed to clean?

Food is somehow worse than normal BK but good customer service. I told them my grilled chicken sandwich looks weird and they gave me a whopper junior. First time I ever enjoyed a whopper junior but hey, it’s a freaking airport fast food place. What are you expecting? Anyhow, cashier was cool enough to do something about my complaint. 3 stars for that.

60% Pretty good poutine! *** Came here for a quick bite on Jan ’15 before my flight from Vancouver back to the US. Normally I don’t care to rate fast food, unless there’s special circumstances. I was intrigued with the poutine dish offered here. For those unfamiliar, this is a dish that probably originated in French part of Canada. Its a decadent dish of fries served with hot gravy and cheese curds on top. Since I live in Los Angeles, I don’t have the opportunity to try this dish at the Burger King there. I thought it would turn out gross, but I found myself surprisingly happy with it. While there was the option of adding bacon bits, a sweet onion dip, and even hamburger meat, the purist in me chose the basic poutine with no other topping. For better or worse, there is no small size for this. There’s only one portion size, and its fairly generous enough to be a meal in itself of share between a few diners. The location isn’t easy to get to. I think this is the only branch of Burger King open at Vancouver Airport as of Jan ’15. Its located in the terminals leading to US flights, and after security. I’ll get into the specifics of what I thought about this dish. Poutine(description from BK website) Try a poutine at BURGERKING® and experience the great taste of fresh golden fries smothered with cheese curds & piping hot gravy. The flavours melt together to create a truly Canadian favourite. Approx $ 5. Dish rating, 60% — Visually it doesn’t look flattering with it being served on a plastic cassoulet-like container. Not unsurprisingly, it looks nothing like what’s advertised. — Temperature is good. It really is served piping hot, and that remained to be the case throughout the five minutes or so I enjoyed it. — The fries themselves are about average, although nothing distractingly poor. I’ve always found Burger King fries a bit average. There’s not a lot of crispness and crunchiness with each fry. The presence of potato flavor is a bit mild. The only positive is that they’re not over seasoned or under seasoned with salt. Salt was applied with restraint, and it bridged the salty flavor of the gravy nicely. — The gravy works great. I found it had a nice saltiness throughout. The flavor reminded me of a meat stock with some sweet undertones. This seemed to be the most dominant flavor throughout. While certainly delicious and comfortable with the first few bites, it does become a bit more tedious towards the end. — The cheese curds weren’t bad either. It had a nice sour flavor to them that was mild yet not buried by the gravy. The texture was nicely chewy and offered welcome diversion the fi=ries and gravy. I do wish there may have been a bit more of it. — Overall its not a bad dish at all. I think poutine is one of those things where its difficult to go wrong with as long as there aren’t some exceptional missteps in cooking. Service isn’t bad. I found the counter person to be helpful and the kitchen efficient. Without the place being busy when I visited, my food arrived less than five minutes of ordering. While I may not necessarily suggest making a dedicated cause to visit Burger King, this isn’t a bad choice to get something tasty before flying out. Not bad.
