Nightmare strata management. They seem to be good at one thing: make your life a difficult one, like finding ways to fine you, making by-​laws to make your life more difficult, finding ways to pay their staff…
Here are just a few instances:
1) created a new playground with no consultation from members. Then, make by laws so that only children can use it during specific hours during the day only, and they can only play up to a certain height because a neighbour thinks gangsters are using it to spy on her. Well, no one uses the new playground. What a waste of money.
2) they will charge to send you the strata bylaws. That’s like charging me to view the Criminal Code or the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
3) making it against policy to do ANY repairs on your vehicle.
4) acting all childish when I had my car under storage insurance and on the other side of the country. The property manager wanted me to affix the insurance papers on the dash. One, everyone in the neighbourhood knows that is my car parked in my parking stall. It was legally insured. Two, he just didn’t get the fact I was 5000 km away, but kept contacting me repeatedly until he got what he wanted.
