History

Established in 1957.

We are Canada’s most established hockey equipment retailer, opening our doors in Vancouver over half a century ago, in 1957. Fred Taylor Jr. opened Cyclone Taylor Sports (CTS) in honour of his famous father, hockey legend, Fred «Cyclone» Taylor.

CTS is still owned and operated by the Taylor family today. Brothers Rick and Mark Taylor have expanded the business to include four stores located throughout the Lower Mainland, in addition to an e-​commerce website.

Business Owner

Rick and Mark Taylor are the Co-​Owners of Cyclone Taylor Sports (CTS). Their father, Fred Taylor Jr., opened up the business in 1957 and later passed it down to his son’s, Rick and Mark.

Rick heads up the CTS Head Office, and Mark heads up the CTS Surrey Store (Highway 10 and 152^nd Street).
