Delta Air Lines

I have flown Delta 2 times now & both times my bag has been damaged. AND… Both times they have got me excuses & done nothing about it.
The first time my bag came with my clothes hanging out of it and clear taped closed. The second time (yesterday) my bags zipper was broken and my clothes were hanging out once again (this time not tape at all).
This bag was brand new, first time being used. It was not even close to over packed, no tsa check was done on my bag. Just broken, they told me they do not cover zippers & I should return to where I purchased. I think that is dishonest to return because it isn’t the manufactures fault that delta is not responsible enough to take are with there baggage. I will choose from now on to not fly delta & give them my money. They are a company full of excuses & not there for there customer when they are at fault.
Also, while I was in the claim room, there was another gentlemen there who had a rifle case that had been damaged. He said it was the second time he had ever used the case. It was completely cracked & hinges broken. It was a very durable case (he said it was from Cabellos). He said to do that kind of damage it would have had to been dropped from like 20′.
Delta=joke!!!

On top of keiko’s lack of consideration, my most important baggage got lost between Vancouver and New York City. This resulted in me having to spend 3 additional hours at JFK sorting out a strategy to get my stuff. Upon explaining to the special baggage staff at Delta, they we’re horrified and embarrassed that Keiko had not tagged by bags through to Brazil as requested. One Delta staffer called her petty and embarrassing while another characterized her as ‘stupid’. Upon arriving in Brazil, I again had to go speak with Delta’s special baggage people to try and locate my lost luggage. This took another 2 hours.
When I told the São Paulo Delta handlers that Keiko refused to tag my bags to my destination, they rolled their eyes and simply couldn’t understand the stupidity of this.
I do want to repeat that on the same flight 3 weeks earlier, the tagging policy execution was different, more customer friendly and definitely logical — and there were no problems.
I’m far overseas now and still don’t have critical pieces of my luggage. Thank you Keiko. It’s also extra special that not one of your colleagues involved in your despicable act support you or agree with your poor decision making and interpretation of some fine print somewhere under some old spider webs that you dishonor yourself executing to the most contrary of customer service decency.
Keiko has created a lot of misery for her colleagues and me. Ain’t she smart and special.
