Gabriela M.

Business Owner

Gabriela is a true believer of the many benefits that a dance education has in the development of the whole child and takes the time to recognize individual personalities in order for her students to get the most out of each class. She also has experience and excellent rapport working with special needs children.

Originally from Mexico City, she started dancing since the age of 5. She has a degree in Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and is a full member of RAD Canada.

In Mexico City, she started her teaching career as a teacher assistant before getting her own students. When Gabriela moved to Canada she taught in a Ballet Studio in Vancouver, and in different places in

Richmond before opening Gabriela’s Movement Studio in 1990.
