Got food poisoning here from the chicken salad sandwich. FYI it’s also not your typical chicken salad sandwich — no mayonnaise, lots of Indian spices.

Stopped here for breakfast on an early morning flight. It looks like the kind of independent café makes it own sandwiches. What a crock. They display a sign that says«Breakfast wrap» and has a list of about 10 ingredients that sound pretty good(Egg, Chorizo, Jalapeño, etc.). It costs over $ 6. Sounds okay. What you get is a prepackaged microwaved wrap that just came out of the freezer. Mine was still cold in the middle. And it’s not like they made it earlier — it’s some mass produced, branded wrap. And the ingredient list is about 500 items(including preservatives and nitrates). I felt seriously ripped off. I think it’s borderline fraudulent and most definitely misrepresentation. I would have had a better meal for cheaper at the 7⁄11 in the front of the airport. In fact, I tossed my wrap and went to the Starbucks, where I got a far, far better Spinach and Egg wrap for only $ 4.25. The Green Bean Café is why businesses like Starbucks succeed: it makes them look good. –1 stars

A panini, that isn’t a panini. I ordered a panini, I received a sandwich. And honestly, not a great one either. The service left something to be desired as well. All was going fine, the cashier took my order, I paid for it and then waited. A woman, who appeared to either be the owner or a manager came in and told the woman who was preparing my order that she needed a certain number and type of muffins that she was putting together for someone. The cashier dropped my order and helped her boss. I waited. When my «panini» came, it was lacklustre at best.

If you’re looking for a coffee and muffin this place is great. Nice big muffin and good dark roast coffee for less than you would pay downtown. The server even asked if I wanted it warmed up and offered me butter without having to ask! The sandwiches and salads all looked good at reasonable prices for an airport. I’m not sure why the other bad reviews… Definitely doesn’t deserve a one star.

On our recent trip Toronto we ordered sandwiches and coffee, the coffee was dark roast that went past dark and into burnt. That sandwiches were skimpy on meat, over dressed with condiments that when bite into they drip out all over the place, not a good thing when on an airplane. Overpriced but its an airport, but shouldn’t mean you get this poor a quality product. Do yourself a favour and find something else!

Prior to a flight from Vancouver to Calgary, I came here and ordered an Italian Ham Sandwich. This came with lettuce, Swiss cheese, mustard, tomato, and Edam cheese. Despite being on the Panini menu, this was no panini. It didn’t get toasted, tasted like it had been in the cooler for days, and had close to no mustard inside. It was overall a very cold and dry sandwich. There was almost no water left in the lettuce. I’d never been so glad to have a juicy tomato until this sandwich. This wasn’t worth $ 8 and I was sadder after finishing the sandwich than I was prior to eating it. This was like eating meaningless calories.

The old store was better, workers was more friendly. i travell very often so i can see the differences. New store workers look bored and no lovely face. Too pricey for the service, there r more options around. Don’t forget usually customers don’t care about the price, they come back only for the lovely workers.

Horrible service for the two gentlemen working today 7⁄20 at 5pm. Messed up my order and couldn’t even apologize or remake my sandwich.

Worst pannini ever. It tasted soggy and wasn’t grilled properly. so much for eating right. I gave it to my best friend. He eats anything.

The Domestic terminal at Vancouver International Airport(YVR) is seriously hurting. I checked in my luggage and entered the secure zone with the intention of finding something decent. Unless you count the Starbucks or a couple of convenience stores, this is your ONLY choice of food that isn’t a danish. To find this place, go to the RIGHT after you leave the baggage scanning checkpoint. Feeling baller, I went all out and ordered the $ 6.95 Italian Panini. It’s really just a toasted bagel, but you get a choice of salami or cappicollo ham(which made me feel special). The ingredients were pretty fresh(everything was nice and crispy), but it wasn’t $ 7 good. The guy looked seriously bored, as all of the foot traffic was heading towards the other side(left) of the terminal. The moral of the story? Eat here if you can expense it. Otherwise there are cheaper options(though that’s not saying much) in this part of the airport.
