I Need Flooring LTD

I got many different quotes from different companies and finally decided to give Olin a shot. Olin gave me an all-​in quote including the boards which was great. I didn’t want to have to worry about sourcing and delivering the wood myself. Olin and John did fantastic work and clearly shows that they take pride in their work. Had my baseboards and door trim ripped out in no time and installed new ones. Highly recommended both on price and quality of work.

Horrible service and owner is shady… Stay away. You’re taking risk with your floors. Find an honest business to work with.

I had my hardwood floors installed by Olin and his team in Fall 2014. I would steer clear of Olin and his team. My floors were scratched with a rough pad by Olin himself who only replaced 2 of the 6 boards that were scratched stating that it would ruin the overall integrity of the floor. The transition strips popped off about a month after the job was complete, he didn’t return my email/​text to fix them. The job took longer than stated and was delayed because of another job. My place was left a mess with dust everywhere, my mirrored door was broken and replaced with a cheaper version that is coming unscrewed already. Olin gave me a small discount for the unrepaired floor boards but I wince every time the sun shines on them and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Another fellow from a different company came to fix the scratches and said it doesn’t change the integrity of the floor and that anyone who has been in the business long enough would not leave a job like that.

Called them for click Vinyl Plank Flooring installation. The guy did not even ask about the details or offered to come and do inspection. He just gave a number which is twice as expensive as homedepot !

We were excited to hire this company when we saw some of the good reviews on Unilocal.Unfortunately we were met with disappointment right from the beginning.
After heading to the store and selecting a product, we scheduled a consultation with Olin to come to our home on Saturday to take measurements. Not only was Olin late, he also didn’t notify us that he was running behind. When he finally arrived, Olin was friendly and apologized, then promised to phone back on Monday for a quote on the job.
Monday came around and there was no follow up from Olin so we phoned him. Again, Olin had excuses for not making contact with us. We felt this was very unprofessional of the company for not making clients a priority. Olin apologized a second time, then promised to phone the very next morning for our quote and we could finally get a time frame for the job.
The next day passed by and still no contact from Olin. By now we are feeling very unimportant as clients. How can we justify hiring the company at this point? It also appeared as if this wasn’t the first time clients have been ignored or forgotten.
If you are looking to hire this flooring company, please consider the fact that CMO and Olin are not organized.

I’ve recently got my laminate flooring installed by CMO Flooring, the final result was very disappointing, there are many spots are making clicking noises when walking on, and some planks are moving up and down, I love the look of the laminate I picked but I’m sad that the end result has so many flaws that can’t be fixed :(
The price I ended up paying was way more than what I got quoted for, the owner did not inform me in advance about some extra (hidden) charges for floor leveling. The installation took way longer than any flooring contractor that I have used in the past, it was due to lack of labor and experience, the owner took way too many jobs and he only sent one guy to come in and do mine. The demolition guy he sent out to remove my old laminate was a 17 – 18 years old boy who had no experience whatsoever, he spent two full days on just taking apart the old laminate stairs and chipped & damaged my wooden stairs underneath, my husband stopped him from continue working on the stairs and easily took off the remaining laminate and fixed all the broken wooden planks ourselves, the owner didn’t apologize at all but instead, he wanted to charge us for the extra time his worker spent on removing the old laminate and his reason was my builder didn’t do a good job putting in the old laminate… wait a minute. I had to put my own money and time into something he didn’t finish properly and pay him $$ on top?! I was shocked! DO NOT use CMO if you want good quality service! the cheapest contractor I’ve used in the past were far better.
Note: I believe the previous CMO workmanship was good as described in some of the previous reviews, those reviews were the reason I decided to use them in the first place, but the old CMO team was dissolved this summer and I called for their service a little too late :((

Disappointing.
I am looking to have my carpets replaced asap in my apartment and wanted to choose a local company as opposed to a big box store or chain. I called and was told to go into the store. I browsed the great selection of swatches and came up with the two styles I was interested in. The salesman took down all the information as well as my name, my cell number and my work number and I was told I would be contacted the next morning for quote and to schedule a date for installation. No call the next morning, so I called again and still no call back. I really wanted to use these guys, but I shouldn’t have to chase them for my business.

Referred to this company by a friend. Extremely satisfied with the professionalism and installation provided by CMO Flooring. I highly recommend this company.

Olin (owner) and Stan (project manager) were absolute pros from start to finish. I had no idea such service was possible at such reasonable rates. Our project called for a diagonal installation of bamboo floating floor (already two criteria that require particular expertise) in a 700 sq.ft. condo. The CMO team hit full points — they were on time, on budget and did a spectacular job, all with a smile.
As for the price, a national building supply chain wanted THREE times as much to install, plus a fee just to give us an estimate, and there was no way to communicate in advance with the flooring installer (s). It made no sense and certainly wasn’t convenient. Many people go by «you get what you pay for» but that is not always true. Sometimes you’re just paying for a name. Believe me, when you see quality and professionalism like this, there is no room for improvement. You’re better off spending your money here.
We’re delighted to have chosen CMO Flooring and would recommend them with high praise to anyone who wants superior workmanship, exceptional personalized service and dedication to customer satisfaction. These people know their business!

Olin and his team did such an amazing job that when I needed new floors at my office at Vancouver Economic Commission I called them right away.
