Meet the Business Owner
Manjit B.
Business Owner
Manj obtained his M. Ed in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, as well as an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care Counselling from Douglas College. He is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D) program in Clinical Psychology at Adler University.
Manj is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and has over 10 years of experience working with people dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, identity issues, family of origin experience, and cross-cultural issues. He is specially trained in working with children and youth.
Manj’s therapeutic style is a blend of many different approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing, Gesalt Therapy, Adlerian psychotherapy, and other theoretical orientations. He works on developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship with each client and identifies goals that meet the client’s needs.
