Hey! The prices are pretty good! Hey! I love food from Xian province area. Hey! I like their dumplings! Hey! This place is not bad at all. Home style Xian style food that is regionally specific and tasty. The food is a bit salty, which at times I know it can be regardless of which restaurant you go to for this type of food. Drink lots of tea !!! That’ll help. My favourite dishes here are the dumplings. When I was in Xian, that’s all I seemed to ever eat. I remember to most amazing dishes coming out of restaurants from that province back in the 80’s and now there is lots to choose from here I. Vancouver and Richmond. This place is no exception. You can ad it to your list of places to try. I brought along two friends just off the plane from Japan and they liked the raw shredded spicy potatoes and the cucumber and garlic. The cumin lamb burger was tasty, but greasy and tasty nonetheless. All gave it three to four stars depending on the dish. The only thing keeping it from a five star was the saltiness and greasiness of the food. The flavours were very good. Meal was enjoyed by all. I got to eat my dumplings and that satisfied me well enough.

Good flavour, bad service(what else is new lol) Went there for a quick afternoon bite with my mom today. I liked how they have posters on the wall saying they do not use msg or any other addictive. The flavour is really good, but service is really shitty. The waitress expects you to order as soon as you sit down, and will purposely ignore you when you tell them that you need a couple minutes. I say don’t Go unless you know what you want to order before you sit down, which is possibly since they have their menu on the window

Quite good for Xi’An cuisine. This place is a gem if you love lamb — which I do! I had the lamb soup, original pork sandwich, and sour & spicy lamb noodle(with hand cut thick noodle). Very good flavors and the noodle really reminds me of authentic Xi’An food!

I really like their long thick noodles. I had the braised beef, but you really want to go for the noodles. Chewy, long, thick, comforting! I think getting it without broth is better, so they don’t overcook. Cold sesame noodles pretty good, but they are a different type of noodle(Liang pi).

We wanted to have fish soup noodles at Deer Garden, however, there was a line up when we arrived. We saw a new restaurant right beside them and had no clue what is Xian food. They were not busy on a Sunday noon. The staffs were friendly and attentive. We got seated right the way and got tea served with one page menu. We spent over 5 mins to check out the menu and other customer’s food. The staff recommended us few famous dishes and we ordered it. Spicy cumin beef burger — Well seasoned and spicy enough Pork and chives dumplings — It’s mediocre. Minced pork noodles — The noodles were thick and bouncy coz it made fresh! Overall, it’s nothing fancy but good for a quick meal.
