The company draws strength from a heritage exceeding a quarter century in development of innovative, leading edge products.

The SandVault team takes pride in offering products with minimal or net positive environmental impact. Our products are ultra low power and generally are battery powered with solar recharge. CycleStationTM, our flagship product, draws on the above technologies and incorporates our spirit of innovation and environmental sensitivity. In the payment space we work with credit cards, private account cards and stored value smart cards. We support magnetic stripe, contact chip, contactless chip, RFID and stored value purse card technologies.

History

Established in 2005.

The SandVault CycleStation is a control and communications system for community shared-​use bicycle operations («bikeshare» systems). It provides full-​featured management control, revenue control, user reporting and interactive user features including remote web browser access.

Business Owner

Mr. Murray is a an innovator and a serial entrepreneur. His early career in government service and consulting focused on traffic and transportation issues and large project design and community impacts. Since the mid 1980’s his focus has been development of innovative control and payment systems. From the world’s first self serve credit card payment systems in the 80’s and extensive work with smart card payment systems for the banking industry in the 90’s the objective has been to create new applications to simply make things work better. SandVault was created to continue the spirit of innovation combined with a commitment to quality and customer service. Mr Murray’s prior business venture was QI Systems Inc.
