I do not recommend this subway, they have staff members that do not know how to handle customers and they use below average ingredients. I ordered a tuna sub but I changed my mind after the subway staff individual put it on the bun because it looked very white, making me believe that it contained too much mayonnaise. I told this individual that it looked like it had too much mayonnaise and that I would like to change my mind for something else. She looked at me and didn’t say anything and then asked the other staff member what to do and just walked away and then came back without saying anything! At this point I felt awkward that my request was not appropriately handled. She then spoke to the person beside her again and this person told her to talk to me directly. I just told them to make me the tuna already made. Due to this, I will not be going to this subway and I do not recommend anyone else to go there either.

I’m writing this review against the other Subway stores in Richmond. The food is the same but the service isn’t. I had asked if I could get one footlong but mix it with two toppings of the same price category. It took me a minute to get the lady to understand and when she agreed she made it but cut it up into two separate sandwiches! Which means they’ll charge me an extra $ 2 for what was supposed to be one footlong. Then she called another coworker to process my sandwich and she told me the prices are different.
Little point in arguing it. Too bad I will have to learn NOT to come to this location anymore and remind others as well. Better to go to their competitors at the nearby mall which is much more accommodating.
You see not all franchisees are equal.
My seafood madly tasted a bit off. I’m worried now I’ll get sick. Let’s hope they rotate their stock and keep it fresh.

B/​c there isn’t much food options – esp. the slim pickings inside the Riverport movie theatre next door, this Subway all of a sudden looks quite attractive, and for the health-​conscious too.
In its own corner area by the parking lot, also a good viewing place too.
Free parking.
Actually do find the service here a bit more friendlier, maybe b/​c less mayhem as it’s pretty far from everything in Richmond.

I have never ever been disgusted as much as I have when I went into this Subway. We all needed a snack and there was really no other choice but this Subway across from Watermania.
4 people working here. All in their teens. If you ask for mayo or mustard they put so much on, all you can taste is the condiments. They are SLOW and disorganized.
And the place is UNCLEAN. Has the health department been here yet? If not, they should. It was unusually dirty, like they don’t have time to sweep or clean.
I’ll never go back here again. Infact, I try not to eat at Subway if I can help it anyway.
