Must stop at this GREAT restaurant near the tourist info center! As my family and I were driving down Rue Prevost on the Island of Orleans, we noticed this restaurant/store. When we walked inside, our eyes were greeted by 20+ phenomenal pastries, and that marvelous smell of fresh bread greeted our noses. Prices are good, too, as we got enough food for a light lunch(for four people) for under 25! Cuisine includes fresh homemade bread, chicken salad, carrot salad(MUSTTRY), other salads, pastries and cakes, fudge, chocolate, and CHEESE!!! The BEST cheese to get is the local cheese made on the island. Since it’s best warm, the girl at the counter warmed it up for us. When we got the cheese back, there were crackers as well as cheese on the plate! The fudge is wonderful, and the free samples are generous. The only negative thing is that you might love this place so much, you’ll never go anywhere else on the island! Bön Appetit!
