Established in 1980.

Jan has worked in the real estate industry since 1980 in association with a number of companies in varying capacities as agent, sales associate, instructor, writer, manager, consultant. Her principle business is that of listing and selling homes & properties on Salt Spring & the Gulf Islands. She is a passionate advocate of the pleasures of life on the islands for many reasons — the arts, the unparalleled environment & incredible geography as well as recognizing the uniqueness of community and intellectual life amongst it’s population. Jan has been associated with RE/​MAX Salt Spring since 2000.

Jan has an undergraduate degree specializing in geography and a Masters in Environmental Studies. In addition she has a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC and is the only real estate agent on Salt Spring who has the senior level accreditation that qualifies her for membership in the Real Estate Institute of BC. Jan’s marketing materials that promote her listings have received many advertising awards from RE/​MAX and she continues to be amongst the top sellers in the industry year after year. Jan’s productivity was honoured by the Victoria Real Estate Board with the «Special Gold Award» in 2008 and the «Gold Award» in 2011, confirming that even in challenging economic environments, hard work and creativity create continued successes for her clients.
