Great service, honest workers, but a bit pricy.
Since I have a e92 (3 series coupe), there is something called the «dot matrix» which exists on the back of my windshield. This makes it extremely difficult for a shop to tint the back windshield as the tint doesn’t stick properly to this material. Reading online, I saw that Auto-​Links had a good reputation tinting my type of car, so I decided to go here.
The service was good, but the work took about 4 hours to complete. I just took a walk around the area, spend a few hours at Tim Hortons and Wendy’s, and even did a little shopping at Factory Direct while I waited. When I got back and saw my car tinted, I absolutely loved it. The tint was a perfect addition to give my car a nice sleek look.
John (the owner) saw that I was going for the «all black» look on my car, and even gave me some decals to cover up the BMW emblem to give it a black and white look (for free!). Sweet!
My only gripe was the price — it was almost 2x more expensive than any other traditional tint shop. Upon closer inspection of the tint a few weeks/​months later, I can see a few spots where dust got it between the window and film. Some are a bit obvious, and some are not really noticeable. The shop is fairly far from where I live so I didn’t bother going back to have them take a look.
Overall, the service was good, John and his team knew what they were doing, and my car looks much better now with the tints (and it protects me from the hot sun as well!). I would recommend this tint shop to anyone with a BMW and the dot matrix issue, but if you don’t have that, perhaps look at alternative to save a few bucks (unless Auto-​Links is willing to price match the difference in cost).

Best place to get tints, Pinnacle series available which reflects warmth — so crucial in the summer. Recommended to all my friends and so far the ones who have gone with them are happy. Great customer service and great attention to detail!

Great bunch of guys here. Very professional service — always courteous, and they explain everything in detail. They do quality work. I had some 3M Wrap done and some window tints, both are excellent and over two years later not a single problem with any of it. The only downside perhaps is that their price does seem to be a touch higher than competitors’, but that might be due to the film that they use and the quality of the product.

I’ve had 3 of my cars tinted by John and crew. First time they did it, they explained how to take care of the tint and what to do and what not to do. Second and third times, they offered to refresh my memory but since I knew what to do I decided to save us both time.
Top notch people at what they do. John and crew will take care of you hands down. Wouldn’t even think twice to go back to them for any tinting jobs in the future. I’ve brought several people to them and they have all be more than happy with the tint job.

I had my car tinted, 3M film protector, opticoat and new car prep. My car has complicated front end yet the film was applied perfectly. Service combined unusually good customer service by John and Steve who were polite and extremely professional. The work was of unusually high quality. Unexpected professionalism combined with expertise and impeccable customer service made for an extraordinary experience throughout. Plus they stayed late into the evening to finish the car a day ahead of schedule to accommodate my needs. Recommend without reservation.

Amazing! So amazing I don’t know where to start?!
Decided to just show up to book my appointment (so that I could discuss my options) after reading all the fantastic reviews online. Met with Steve who was patient and THOROUGH with showing me all my options as well as talking about the pros/​cons of each option. We booked the appointment for the next available time slot (which was about a week out).
Let me just list off all the things that made this an awesome experience:
1. Location is great for killing time while the tint is being installed… leather couches (which are super comfy), big flat screen tv with full channel selection, coffee, water, and even soft drinks
2. ALL the guys working there are kind and informative as well as attentive to detail, not to mention that they treated my car like it was their own (which was super important to me because my car was less than a week old)
3. Install was completed in the amount of time they said and was done IMPECCABLY!
4. Aftercare instructions were thorough and easy to understand
5. Never once was I «fleeced» or treated like «just a dumb girl»
6. Every customer that was in there when I went for the «consult» and for the installation said this was THE place to get your work done (and they weren’t wrong)
7. There is a washroom for clients to use while waiting
I could go on and on but I think you get the picture! Can’t wait to trade this car in so I can get a new one to bring right back to these guys to tint again!
Only thing I regret is not going darker with the tint — I opted to go 30% all the way around and I wish I would have gone 15% in the front (YES I know that is not legal) and 5% (limo black) in the back. I was concerned that I would get a lot of tickets and my visibility out the windows (particularly night driving) would be too impeded. But now I know what I want for my next car!

This place is awesome! Great price and fast service. I have an ’01 Civic and wanted to install car stereo and SirriusXM. Went to Future shop and they told me to pay upfront and also wait for a month or so for installation (Hwy 7 & Woodbine). Seriously they are that booked!
So looked online and found these guys as ratings were good and plentiful. Talked to Steven on the phone and he was polite. Asked if I could come in and he said anytime! So I end up going right away thinking I have to wait a month for booking but I ended up getting my stuff done within an hour!
On a side note, I saw a customer bring in a couple of his friends because he loved the way his tints were done I guess it was at a prior date. He said after a couple months he has no bubbles. I guess thats a good thing.
I was helped out by Cody. Decent guy and really informative. Was patient and ended up saving me some money as he fixed something else on my car for free!
Honestly, I was so happy by the service and that is why I am putting my review. In the end, it was a clean place, free beverages, Sat T.V. and great service! Try them out, you will not be disappointed. If anything, go for a quote and you will see that they are reasonable! The only small issue is not Auto-​Links but the parking outside. Very limited.
I will definately go to these guys again! Cheers!

Auto-​links has provided me one of the best shop experiences I’ve had.
The location is well lit, well maintained, and caters to clients with an open couch area with widescreen television and refreshments (coffee & water). The staff is professional and friendly.
I’ve been to Auto-​links on two occasions so far. Once for a friends tint removal and the other time for a Formula One installation on my vehicle. The install was completed within half the quoted time and satisfied my stringent standards. The owner and his fellow employees are wonderful people, glad to sit and chat if they have a moment of time between one busy install and another.
I fully recommend Auto-​links for the pleasant experience I’ve had there. I look forward to visiting John and his crew again soon!

Cleanest tint and clearbra shop in Toronto. Have gotten all my cars done by John and his team.
Upfront and professional and addressed any issues or concerns I had before or after the transaction.
They run a tight ship and it shows when you visit. I’ve been to all of the other popular tint shops in Toronto and I still come back to this one at the end of the day.

Great experience! Very knowledgeable staff, great waiting room and most important super fast service! It’s been a few days since I had my truck tinted and I am really happy with the outcome.

For my first anniversary with the boyfriend, I decided to get his windows tinted on his Jeep. After much deliberation and a few hours of research I decided to go with Auto-​Links, a company that seems to be highly regarded among car enthusiasts in East GTA.
We arrived for our appointment on a Friday afternoon a bit early and were told that they were running 20 – 30 minutes behind schedule. The delay ended up being more like an hour, but when we did arrive, one of the guys came out to check out the vehicle and discuss with my boyfriend what he wanted. I was pushing for the whole car (double the cost) but he really only felt the front two windows needed to be done and the Auto-​Links guy agreed with him.
Once they took his car keys, we went for a walk and checked out a nearby Canada Computers shop and then came back after about half an hour to find his car almost done! Two front windows with Pinnacle Formula 1 Tint took no time at all but we did get to see the installation process. One thing worth of note is that they had already put on the passenger side when we arrived. I guess they weren’t happy with it because they took the tint off and cut a brand new piece and installed it. Just goes to show that this is a place where they care about QUALITY. Once they were done, they came out, went over a few things about care and maintenance with us and we were ready to go.
My boyfriend opted for 30 to try and match the stock tint on the rest of his car and it really looks great. I’ll post any updates on the tint if I have them later on but so far, its curing fine and looks perfect.
John and his staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. I emailed back and forth with John about what options I had for tinting my boyfriend’s car and he was happy to provide me with multiple quotes for different tints and amounts of tint. You do have to call to make an appointment and the guy on the phone was just as forthcoming with information. As well, we were early and ended up waiting around but they have a couch and a tv in the sitting room so you can hang out there while you wait.
We did meet a guy at the shop who said he’s had FIVE cars done by John and his crew — again, just goes to show that this is a quality shop. I did a lot of research before I bought and if you’re doing the same, look no further. I was a noob at this kind of stuff before and John made it a really easy and painless process.

AMAZING — My brother and I got our windows tinted for both our cars and John helped us through the entire process and was very patient as we went through the different shades. There’s a huge window where you can watch the installs being done, and you can tell the workers are highly skilled.

I had window tints installed in my car at Auto-​Links a few years ago, when it was in their original shop. Despite the old location, the Auto-​Links team did a great job. John, the owner, appreciates every single one of his customers and it shows. He never hesitates to express his gratitude for your business.
I went back to have a headunit installed at this new location. I got quotes from Audio Heaven for the same unit, but Auto-​Links’ price was several hundred dollars cheaper. The installation was perfect as usual.
John is a very honest and fair business owner. He has a great team working for him and they are all very professional. They’re knowledgeable and polite, and despite the number of clients that go through the shop, you never feel rushed or pressured.
With so many options for tints and audio installation, you would be mistaken not to get a quote from Auto-​Links.

Was referred here by a friend, and they installed my aftermarket GPS deck and also did a tint job on my VW Passat. They do great work here, check it out. Prices are reasonable.
