Double Double Pizza & Chicken

I wish I could give fewer stars. I’ve been moderately satisfied with other Double Double locations, so when the hubby and I were craving greasy pizza one night we decided to order from Double Double as they are nearby and we figured delivery would be quick.
Pizza arrived in decent time, could’ve been faster, but no complaint there.
The driver refused to take the pizza out of the box, pointing it toward me and announcing that it was hot. I looked at him, then looked at the box and he motioned for me to reach in, so I did. My hand was immediately burnt, so I retracted it from the bag. He motioned again saying it was hot. As a pizza delivery man you have a fairly simply job, deliver pizza. He failed on all accounts. I reached in again and grabbed the burning hot pizza and he retreated faster then I could say, «you really shouldn’t have customers doing this.» And I did say that to him as I was taking the pizza, he did not acknowledge me.
So both my hands are now burnt. You can literally see a box imprint in my fingers. Lesson learned, I won’t ever reach into a pizza bag again, no matter how useless the delivery man is. Open the pizza box, hot damn (pun intended) our order is completely wrong. Checked the little plastic bag with our accompaniments and those are all wrong. Not a single thing is correct. Since the pizza is edible and we were hungry and couldn’t be bothered, we ate.
It was perfectly acceptable as a meal, but not what we ordered and they burned my hands. So order at your own risk.
There are better options in the area. A bit pricier, but I think in this case I got what I paid for, burnt hands and a someone else’s pizza.
