Yesterday my sister and I went into the scarborough location .My sister as. we are all leaving on separate vacations my sister to Singapore. And my family to our yearly trip to Cuba wanted to buy my daughther a «My little pony«tug along luggage Not very expensive only 39.99 We paid and then as we were leaving the store this woman starts following me and my daughther — As I was just about to step. out of the store she screams at me that my daughther will have to leave the suitcase. Accusing me of stealing. publicly humiliating me. First I am in a professioanl career for over 15 years and have never stolen once ! Or would I ever –but needless to say legal./and common sence would be, instead of accusing the customer just go up and ask if the customer would not mind showing the bill !!! Which we had !.she disappeared after I told her what nerves(I have the bill on me) now the store is attempting to steal from me the customer ! Not only do they want the money but they want the money and to keep the merchandise they just sold you. i went back into the store and asked to speak to the manager — who was far away herself from professional acted like I was bothering her from moving her clothing racks around and would not even stop to look me civility in the eye and give a decent apology — I went back to even show the receipt that her employee accused me first without even asking for a receipt ! Which would of been the professional thing to do ! Instead they feel it’s their right without harden evidence to publicly accused paying customers and not even feel like they have to show any legal obligation to false accusation! Intelligence would tell you to ask for a receipt !! Not sure if their sensible enough to realize it but that attitude and manner of conducting themselves without asking for a receipt first can hold h and m legally responsible Expect cheap clothes ! Cheap customer service with employees with no common sense ! By the way their head office not only ignored my emails. but on their Facebook page when I wrote my concern they removed it .I then realized reading through the comments they only edit for the good positive comments on how low. their merchandise is — that explains everything about the etiquette of the company and staff Sorry on my iPhone. And I have horrible Fingers trying to type .but I am. senuor management for 15 years in a corporate office for customer relations so I am apauled by their lack of professionalism

What a customer service disaster. I called 4x on a Tuesday before noon only to wait to be hung up on — ALL4 times — to check for an item. Thinking they might be busy, I went in only to discover that I could count the number pf customers in there on both hands. Instead I found a cluster of sales reps in the dressing room talking while 1 cashier handled a line of at least 5 people by herself. The cashier was extremely friendly but clearly overwhelmed as she was working solo… Totally unimpressed H & M.

This H&M location is probably one of the worst. It has nothing to do with the mall, or the staff, but they have the WORST selection of clothing I’ve seen at any location, and I’ve been to a lot of them. They don’t carry any of the trendier stuff(the Divided line) and their sale section gets attacked so brutally that there is never anything left. Once, only once, I found a pair of shorts. And once, I bought a bag. And that is it. I shop at H&M a lot, people. Me exiting the store with 0 – 1 purchases is a big deal.
