The mall is very lacking for tenants especially anchors but the stores that are there are very good. Only 3 of 5 restaurants are open in the food court. What was once Kmart then Zellers then. Target sits empty. The NoFrills grocery store is the main reason I shop here.

There are these websites with pictures of abandoned malls in the United States, the Orillia Square Mall should be on those sites. The mall itself is surrounded by a standalone Canadian Tire, Staples and Shoppers. There is also a Zellers and a No Frills attached to the mall that you can access without actually entering the mall’s corridors. The actual stores within the mall are so sad it’s embarrassing. The most legitimate branded store actually located within the physical structure is a Northern Reflections(actually there is a men’s clothing store that looks like it has nice enough stuff). Other than that it’s just a mish-mash of stores and brands you have never heard of. The mall itself is dreary and dingy. You will not feel good about yourself if you are so unlucky as to find yourself inside the actual mall. Stick to the Canadian Tire, Shoppers and Staples on the periphery and save yourself the mental anguish.
