History

Established in 1972.

Eastgate Taxi was the first cab company established in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Eastgate Taxi was started with 5 driver’s that grew to over 25 car’s in the first year of being in business. In 1985 Sherwood Park Cabs was established with 10 cars and was the second cab company in Sherwood Park. In 1997, Eastgate Taxi purchased Sherwood Park Cabs and made the largest and only fleet taxi service in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
