Car audio installers are very incompetent. There has been at least 3 different occasions where Visions on Emerald drive has bothced up the install on my audio system in my vehicle. First time I wanted 4 speakers and an amp installed. 12 hours later call to check up on them. «Ya it’s done come grab the car!» They did not call me when it was done of course. Get the keys. hop in my car. Flick on the stereo… sounded like the speakers were stock still. Fold the back seat down to check the amp and it wasn’t installed. So 12 hours to install 4 speakers.
Had to take it back to get the amp installed now. Took the day to install as expected because they were busy. Get a call this time which was considerate of them. Get the keys. Hop in the car. Speakers sound good! Try to fold down the seat to check the amp! The seat doesn’t go down because it was wired in a way where there was not enough slack in the wire to fold the seat down without pulling the wires out from the amplifier. Oh goody. Come back and was told Eric the guy that installed it moved to another location so I would have to go there. Nope. Argued for a bit to get it fixed at the location where it was installed.
3^rd incident was last time I went in because my subwoofers weren’t working. Paid 50.00 to diagnose the issue and asked for them to tighten the loose door speakers they installed. 10 hours through the day I gave them a ring to see if any progress was made. «Your subs are blown». So job was done and no phone call again. Now to figure out that my subs are blown takes 10 minutes tops with a meter not 10 hours. Pick up my car and cut my losses. Not to my suprise the door speakers are still loose and weren’t tightened. Every single time that I have ever taken my car to this place I have been dissapointed. If considering anything car audio go to another place. I’ll be giving Method Acoustics a try for installation in the near future. They can’t do any worse than the Visions has haha.

Update: I went in a second time to speak to a manager, and he refunded me the difference, however it still didn’t come with the extras for the same price that was offered elsewhere and my previous experience still is preventing me from going back or recommending it. As a result upgrading from 1 star to 2 stars.

Went to visions to compare their pricing on a new tv I saw advertised at futureshop. The tv is a samsung 60″ 1080p 3D tv on sale for $ 899. I asked the sales rep if he had that tv in stock and he did! They also have a price beat guarantee, so he sold me the tv for $ 799!!! $ 100 less than the price at futureshop. It wasn’t too busy in the store, they had Tonnes of tvs on display to see side by side comparisons of different models and great attentive sales staff. 5 stars hands down.
