Cupcakes In South Surrey

Recently bought cupcakes — 2 orders on different occasions. Both times they were very very dry and the icing was hard.
Not good at all.
Would not recommend or get cupcakes there again.

I love this store. They always have a big selection of flavours right up until closing. I can’t get enough.

Wow ! Super disappointed. I have been frequenting this location for like 4 years and have found them getting worse and worse. I could literally throw my cupcake and break a window with it, it’s so hard. Given the line up that was there I don’t imagine turnover is the issue. And for almost $ 4 I would a expect a cupcake that has been at least baked today. But given the amount of other places to eat in this area thinking this will be the last time I come to cupcakes. Hopefully I don’t break a tooth on this cake
Addition– I should also note that the sales girl didn’t wear gloves or anything while touching cupcakes and money. This has got to be a health violation no?

After I got yelled at by the rude young tall boy that works behind the counter of the post office next door, I decided to calm my nerves by devouring a double chocolate cupcake. It was delicious!
The girls’ we’re very polite! They were extremely helpful, happy, and all smiles!
Thank you ladies for your sweet gestures. It sure did make up for the rude and obnoxious encounter I just had with the young guy at the post office.
To the owner of the cupcake store– I frequently come in and get cupcakes with my family and friends. The customer service has always been exceptional! ALWAYS!

This Cupcakes location inside Grandview Corners is big and spacious. As a mom, I like places like this where I can park my stroller.
My little man and I got a cupcake to share. I love to bake at home but most of the time, I don’t need to be baking dozen cupcakes and getting a cupcake is a nice little treat away from home.
The cupcake was moist and delicious. The icing was little too sweet but most icing are so I will take it.
The big cupcake is $ 3.00 and their mini cupcake is $ 1.50. They are not cheap but as a once in a while treat, it’s Do-​able.

So, my wife and I took her 6-​year old niece down to Grandview Corners and we thought we’d surprise her by treating her to some Cupcakes. Appearance wise, it’s pink and cute… it’s a little girl’s dream come true.
Besides the icing, the sneaky marketing ploy left a foul taste in my mouth. OK, since Halloween’s coming up, of course they’ve got the cupcakes all decorated in the halloween spirits — some of them have the extra plastic Halloween swag, (those sat at the front of the tray)…while the ones behind them, had none. Walking in and upon first glance, you probably wouldn’t spot the difference.
So here we come in and my niece orders one. When the girl rings it up… we notice it cost more then the usual cupcake. It just so happens that this «glorified toothpick», the extra swag, cost 50 cents extra! Girl didn’t even bother to tell us! We had to bring it up to her! I mean what’s up with that?! Kinda reminds me of all those messed up ally bank commercials where they’re screwing little kids over with fine print. I mean not only do I gotta worry about my credit cards or bank dropping me hidden charges nowadays, I can’t buy a cupcake without being hit with these mystery fees. I swear, I completely missed the fine print on the dried-@$$ frosting.
Oh yeah… and the frosting, I almost forgot the frosting! Simply put… frosting was just dried as hell! Usually… you touch frosting it’s all over you’re fingers. You lick it off your fingers, wipe it on your clothes, under the table — whatever! I mean that’s what it SHOULD be, right?! That’s HOW it should be — MOIST! I swear, I touched the frosting and I left my fingerprint on the cupcake! I mean, it was that dry! nothing on my finger!
+1 though, it gave me my sugar fix and I guess that’s why I’ll give them that 1 star. Quality-wise…it’s was just sad.
