Pho Vinh

This business has changed ownership since it opened, and has been operating with the new owner for the past couple of years.
This used to be one of my fiancé’s favorite restaurants, but has really gone downhill since the new owner took over.
The food is okay, but not as good as it used to be.
The restaurant is getting really rundown, and looks like it could use a good clean, bleach and elbow grease, from top to bottom.
The service is non-​existent, not even friendly when you go to the front to order.

Phở Vinh is a very decent little Vietnamese spot in town. The food is fresh, everything is made to order and well spiced. If your looking for something tasty try the lemongrass tofu noodle bowl!

I love Phở Vinh! I was extremely excited to hear that another Vietnamese place was opening in Spruce because I’m not a huge fan of the other one. Everytime we’ve gone they’ve always chatted with us and have been very friendly. (Even joked about our hangovers and how tea would help) I’ve been here a few times already but I just went yesterday again ! Now before yesterday this definitely would have been 5 stars for me but for some reason the service was horrible. We came in sat down, paroosed through the menu and ended up ordering the same thing as usual, phở, the works except tripe and tendon. no thanks ! With an additional order of Singapore noodles as an «appetizer». When we said no drinks. just tea is fine. he kind of sneered at us. Almost like a death look of. «how dare you drink only our free beverages» We shrugged it off but then our food was taking ridiculously long, which again, not a huge deal… we finally got our Singapore noodles but. no side plates, so when they came out with our phở I asked for the side bowls. But he seemed to have «forgotten» once he went back to the counter to drink out of a glass. Regardless of the service though. the food was top notch as usual. Singapore noodles were a bit more greasy then I would have liked and could have used a bit more curry powder but other then that everything was awesome ! Meat is plentiful and the broth was great in the phở. Now I know I don’t agree with everyone on this as I know a lot of people like «O.G.» phở (King Noodle) so this may not agree with everyone ! Afterwards we had leftovers which I had to go ask for a take out container. So, horrendous experience this time, hopefully it was just a bad day for him because we love this place !
