This fish hatchery is a self guided tour that allows you to breeze right through it or like me, savor all of what’s in front of you and that’s the breeding of young local Salmon for the preservation of the ecological system. Without them the population of local salmon will diminish right before our very eyes. Swing on by when you’re in the area and give yourself a treat with something educational and instructional when you’re taking a break from the slopes. It’s free and plenty of parking and no crowds whatsoever. The workers are there doing their job so it’s nice to have company over from time to time. By all means, bring the kids. They’ll find it amazing and that in itself is amazing!
