Exactly what you’d expect from a small organic grocery store. The selection is floor-​to-​ceiling with excellent products, the shop keepers are friendly, pleasant, and knowledgable. I was on holiday here and my hosts insisted that they buy the majority of their food from here, and being a foodie, I had to go. I was so impressed with their prices and selection. Their produce was nice and the layout of the store was reminiscent of an old country store.
If I lived in this area, Pfennings would be my go-​to grocer. I look forward to many more visits when I return to Canada.

Looking for the best in local organic produce? You’ve come to the right place. Pfennings is synonymous with the best organic produce in the region, but there is so much more in the store. There is also a bulk food section, as well as many herbs and spices. I am not very knowledgeable about many topics of this area, but the owners and staff are always friendly and helpful to answer your questions.
In addition to the store there is also a delivery service as well… You can get all of the goodness of Pfennings Organic sent right to your door!
It’s a short drive down Erb Street to St. Agatha from Waterloo, and it is worth it!
