Had a fun time here at the rodeo last weekend. I’m not really a rodeo gal, but I did still enjoy myself. I had a delicious fresh-squeezed lemonade and a great plate of smokies and perogies with sour cream. I don’t have children but I think this would be a fun family outing. They had rides, a dog show, and of course the rodeo. I think it was around $ 15 – 20 per person for entry but there was a family rate of I think about $ 40. Bring extra money for food and tickets.

Ah yes it’s that time of year again. Rodeos, midways and the best of course the oh so greasy foods of the carnivals. The dusty paths make me reminisce about my childhood. The screams coming from the rides linger in the distance. How awesome it was to be young and wild. Here you don’t see jersey shore haircut wearing ed hardies, you only see the greatest creatures The west has seen. Cowboys. The beautiful horses, the smell of dirt and corn dogs, and the ringleader of the circus running around is quite the sight to see on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. I will return… next year when it rolls through. And it’s off to the rodeo. Yee haw!!!’
