History

Established in 1990.

Brian Yungblut is an Award Winning Commercial Photographer shooting Products and People — Fashion Catalogues, Look Books, Products Large and Small and Business Headshots. Brian’s first studio’s were located in Victoria, British Columbia, he started his photography business in 1990 after 7 years as a photo retouching artist. A self taught Photographer/​Artist the majority of his work is fashion related. Now living in his home town of St. Catharines, Ontario, serving St. Catharines the Niagara region and the Greater Toronto Area, Brian stills spends every March teaching the Fashion Module to the students at «The Western Academy of Photography». Some of his winter months are spent in Manhattan, N.Y. All of his photographic work is non traditional and exhibits a painterly flair. His Award Winning (Canadian Applied Arts Award — Photography) multimedia images have satisfied a growing client base in the Fashion and Commercial sectors while he is locally sought out for commissioned portraits

Bio:

OK… a camera walks into a bar, slides into a fashionable little window lit booth, flirts with a young man focusing on the future, and things just kinda click… Once Brian’s work got some exposure he won a Canadian Applied Arts Award (Photography) for a fashion spread, and his commercial photography career shot up. Brian’s first studios were in Victoria B.C. and included a custom colour and black and white lab. He now lives and works in his hometown of St. Catharines shooting fashion look books, on and off model, editorials, product photography and headshots. Ask him to explain the art of posing and he’ll talk for hours; better yet, let him show you.
