Let me start off by saying, not even Gordon Ramsay with the help of Jamie Oliver and Wolfgang Puck could make help this place. My girlfriend and I went here for some bowling and ended up going to the restaurant for something to eat and what I thought was a simple idea turned out to be a massive mistake. We ordered a pitcher of beer and the server went away returned 3 times to tell us the beer we kept ordering was«out» and that«the keg needs to be changed» finally we got a pitcher of FLAT Alexander Keiths beer that cost us $ 18!!! I would have been better off flying to Halifax, going into the brewery and brewing my own beer. We should have just left after that and cut our losses but we just wanted pizza and thought«you can’t screw up pizza, can you?» Turns out, Yes you can screw up making pizza. It took 50 minutes to cook a pepperoni and cheese, it was beyond cold and hard as a rock oh and ya know. BURNED and black on the bottom. So it was hot at some point… It was such a simple order of Pizza… and Beer… I’m a working student and I work many hours a week on school and my job, I interact with lots of people on a day to day basis. I will tell everyone I know from this day on to never and I mean NEVER visit the JJ Kapps Backyard BBQ Steak and Gill, the only thing that can save this place is a grease fire. I recommend this place gets shut down and a revamped menu. The chef and company involved should feel embarrassed about the bad product, the quality of the product, the service and the wallet burning prices. You can do so much better then this, work smarter not harder.

Sat on a bench that was detached from the wall. Unappetizing food, even for breakfast food in a hotel. Not recommended.

I should have left when I noticed I was all alone and the Bowling Alley behind was packed on Wing Night! My Prime Rib was a large portion for the price but cold and the baked potato was luke warm, the only part of the meal that was hot was the carrot slices on the plate as a garnish! Even the gravy over the prime rib was cool, and who puts gravy on Prime Rib? Maybe in Canada? I won’t return, my server was nice and I tipped her since she was attentive and I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt regarding the food.
