Rosie the Rebel

When it comes to vintage inspired spots, I based my reviews on how many pieces I want within two minutes of walking in the store. Being that i’ve been on this vintagey pin up kick some ten years now, I figure such a rough rating process is necessary.
At Rosie The Rebel, my two minute conclusion? All of it. I want all of it.
This is a sweet little shop on water street that is well worth your time if you’re looking for something whimsical. I popped in on my last trip home and within a few minutes, found three dresses I would have happily taken home if I wasn’t in the midst of a momentary hissy fit regarding budget. From a cute little swing dress covered in pineapples to a leopard print wiggle dress, they carry a great line of vintage inspired duds that walk the line of being a charming homage without being caricature.
The folks who work here are equally impeccably dressed, helpful and friendly. The prices are fair for what they offer and the accessory selection is as cute as a bug’s ear. Definitely worth a stop in.
