As stop #2 on the Epic Chicken Wing Crawl, and the first of the set that Sarah only heard about in an(evidently) drunken haze… this one was a bit of an omen for the rest of that set(where«rest of that set» is «the other one»). The atmosphere here is awesome — tons of neat stuff on the walls, much of it screwed to the wall, and most of it in flagrant protest of the cruel dominance of the bubble level. I’m serious, I was distracted by the skew, and I’m not normally a stickler for such things. They also had perhaps the only two widescreen CRT TVs I’ve ever seen outside the lab at an HDTV chip company, which delighted the techie in me(aka, me). As for food… veggie platter was stunning, with lots of variety and a phenomenal quantity of stuff. Not a huge fan of the ranch dressing, though — would have preferred bleu cheese for the veggies. Wings… were really nothing special. I’ve not sworn my enmity against all wings breaded and ketchupy as Sarah has, but these tasted a bit sweet for me, with not enough kick. I’m 100% sure we ordered medium, but if those are what passes for medium here… well, let’s hope hot is better. I would probably find myself here often if I lived in the area, but I don’t, so I won’t. #5 out of 5 on the Epic International Chicken Wing Crawl.
