History

Established in 2007.

After working in the window industry as an installer for 20+ years, owner and president Mehdi Berisha saw a need. A need to eliminate the middle men and reduce costs for the consumers by providing direct sales from the manufacturer. In 2007 Mehdi opened the doors to Custom Direct Windows and Doors and has grown his business since, by offering affordable quality.

Meet the Manager

Christopher R.

Manager

Christopher has been in the window industry for over 15 years. Starting at Pollard Windows in Burlington in 1999, Christopher worked on the manufacturing floor. By 2001 he held a position in the Research and Development department. At the end 2005 he was promoted once again to Product Development as the Design Technician.

Christopher continued his career with CWD Windows and Doors, owned by Ply Gem Industries in 2006 for their Engineering Department. After spending 2 years in Calgary Christopher moved back home to the Hamilton area and founded Sunshine Window Consultant in November of 2008. With 5 years of business consulting he has now accepted a role as General Manager to take Custom Direct Windows to the next level.

Christopher was a member of Alberta Building Envelope Council (ABEC) for the two years he was in Calgary. He currently sits on the Energy Star Steering Committee for Canada.
