Goemans Appliances

Shopped at the goeman woodbridge location and purchased a washing machine Nov 2014. The washer had to be ordered from the usa and arrived at the estimated time (Dec) at their warehouse. The delivery was on time and they installed the top loader with no problems. The only issue, unlike some places, is that they didn’t call when the washer arrived at their warehouse. I had to follow up with the sales staff to ask for the status even after leaving a message at the goeman warehouse. The sales staff made all the difference as she was very responsive. The company also sets the delivery after the goods arrive to their warehouse unlike some places which will set the delivery date and time during the purchase at the store. Perhaps that is my personal preference to know when delivery is made instead of hoping I’ll hear back from the warehouse when it arrives.
The delivery staff were great. They called ahead 30 min before arrival and were professional.
I would buy from them again but will perhaps think carefully before considering something more expensive and high tech then a $ 1000 washer (only few dealers sold this particular brand). They have a re stock fee return policy of 25% (I believe) and if anything breaks, you are left to deal with the manufacturer per invoice contract. Unless you buy their ‘extended warranty’ from them for extra $$$, you are left to deal with the manufacturer.
This return policy isn’t as generous as some other retailers but they do sell very high end appliances not commonly available in many stores unless you shop at tasco etc…

This was my second experience with Goemans Appliances, where the first experience was nothing more than walking in and selecting a washer and a dryer and agree on a cool price on a late Saturday afternoon. This second experience was a bit more prepared and thought out. I needed a complete set of fridge, dishwasher, range and wine fridge, preferably all the same brand. I started out with exploring the GE line, and sidestepped to Electrolux and thought about Samsung briefly but settled on the Kitchenaid line. the service provided by Norm was professional, informative and patient. The prices were great and with the no tax weekend it was almost a complete European experience, you pay the price you see. So convenient. I highly recommend Goemans for anyone who is looking for appliances at a great price and a great service.
