The owners are really great for doing this and providing this for free. It’s such a great place to bring little ones. The pony ride staff are also really nice and accommodating.

This place has been in operation forever. They have a variety of animals for kids to see and feed. It is free to attend however they have a donation box at the front of the property which I always put at least ten dollars into because I know it costs a lot to raise pets. I have been here several times and yes there are two labs that greet you in the parking lot they are super friendly farm dogs. Infact one just wanted to lay be the shade provided by my car. There are little bunnies to feed and different types of birds to observe, pony rides for an extra charge… well worth the money. It is very well run and very clean. If you have kids it is well worth passing by this establishment. They offer birthday parties in the summer and have also had some equipment and animals featured in movies which you can view and /or get the history on while at the farm. Love this place. The owners are passionate about the animals and treat them very well.

This is a great place to take your kids. I took my little cousins here and they are always asking to go back. Make sure you bring lots of carrots and other veggies to feed the animals– you’ll run out fast! I’ve never heard anything about horses biting children. Maybe the children got nipped while feeding them. It’s really up to you to be careful(just feed them veggies that are larger in size/length). Do you really think the animals know better? All of the animals here are friendly and calm– except for the sheep and goats when they are pushing each other for your carrots. As for the two dogs wandering around the area, they are the most docile dogs I have ever seen. They just roam around together and don’t make a fuss at all. Even for those afraid of dogs, no need to worry about these two– unless you are flashing treats in front of them or something, they will leave you alone. For a free petting zoo, this place is pretty amazing and well worth visting. A great afternoon activity for the kids.

Great place to let the kids loose. Close to home and FREE! BUT I have heard stories of the horse biting children. so I stay clear from that animal. For those afraid of dogs be warned that their 2 dogs roam free in the fenced area and also in the parking lot. That made me a little nervous. I also would have liked to see more sanitary stations set up in the front area as you leave the petting zoo.
