At Playce Café we wanted to create a neighbourhood restaurant where you can experience great food and share the love of board games.

Our menu is based on homestyle soups, salads, hand crafted sandwiches and paninis packed with fresh ingredients and flavour.

We also offer smoothies, premium brewed coffees, a wide selection of teas and an assortment of baked goodies that you crave.

We used to think board games equalled Christmas time, Monopoly, Snakes & Ladders, Scrabble and Cluedo.

We were wrong.

It is this awakening to the possibilities that board games can bring, the social interaction,

the mental stimulation, the sheer fun and the post game memories that stay with you for a long time.

This is what we want you to experience at Playce.

And it doesn’t matter what games you like to play, it is about sharing.

We want you to leave having played some fantastic games, with a grin on your face and a hunger for more.

We have some popular games in our growing collection and encourage you to bring your own too.

History

Established in 2014.

Playce is located off Main Street in Stouffville. Just after the Go Station, in front of the Lactham Art Gallery. There used to be French Café called La Cusine da ma Mere where we are now located. We have renovated the place to create an ambiance for togetherness-​a playce which resonates with the memories of childhood fun or where our guests can try out some of the newer games while snacking on our sumptuous eats.

We have a new name and a new concept but you will find some of the best liked food items from then on our new menu.

Meet Sam– a Finance wizard who gave up a career in the high life to follow his dream of having a café of his own where he could craft sumptuous sandwiches and whizz some mouth watering smoothies. In this quaint little town of Stouffville in Ontario Canada, nestled in a cozy corner on Main Street is the Playce Café & Deli, where you can meet Sam and savour some of his favourite creations
