A good spot for a quick fish and chips or poutine fix. The fish options are halibut, whitefish and cod, and they all come with coleslaw and a slice of lemon. The batter is dense and keeps the fish HOT — this will be awesome come winter! A shrimp dinner is also available. The poutine comes in 2 sizes and is good but not great — the gravy needs to really get in there more and more cheese curds are needed. This a family run place and the owner and everyone is super nice. I’d come back just to see their beaming faces! Even on a weekday afternoon the place was at least half full.

I like a restaurant that focuses on one thing and does it well. We observed that everything served here is golden brown and fried. We enjoyed the shrimp and tasted each of the 4 types of fish: cod, whitefish, haddock, and halibut. The halibut was the best, although hard to tell the difference. All mostly taste like the batter. Excellent onion rings.

The place is clean and pleasant. Eat in or take out. The service is friendly and fast. Four types of fish, Scallops, Shrimps and more. They are always fresh and delicious. It’s a place you must go.
