A&W

Went to pay with a $ 50 dollar bill, the manager refused to take my money. Poor service, our meals came up to $ 40. Shitty service, and waste of food.

i have to say that ive always thought that chain fast food joints of the same name are equil to each other. I have been prooven wrong by this A&W. This joint treats you like they want your business and that everything they do matters to you the customer. I have eaten at many different burger joints of the same name to find this one stands alone both in quality of service as well as quality of food. Awesome job guys im hoping that the additude adjustment will catch on and your example will be the one to follow.

Late night eats! Lately, I’ve been leaning more towards A&W after the bars, rather than MCD.
I’d say the Buddy burger does it for me. Simple, clean and tasty.

Service was good and food was up to expectations until I ran into a fry that smelled like someone wiped their *** with it. Talked to one of the cashiers and they offered me more fries. If anyone suffers any of the effects of e. choli hit me up.

The service here was far beyond what anyone would expect from a fast food restaurant. I have never experienced anything like this before. The staff was awesome, and very attentive. They brought us ketchup, came and refilled our drinks, checked on us to make sure everything was good, brought us a choice of mints or lollipops when we were done, and opened the door for us on our way out.
It was our first time at this A&Ws and it most certainly will not be our last. Going to be hard to go to any other fast food restaurant ever again, other A&Ws included.

Wow… We visited this place to buy a quick meal.

The staff at this specific A&W went above & beyond. We’re very surprised!
The restaurant is very well organized and super clean. The food was very fresh and hot and tasty.
The staff opened the door for us when we got there, and greeted us in a very pleasant way, which created a very good first impression.
They also asked us how everything was tasting and if we need anything. If I’m craving for A&W, I would go to this specific location just because of their excellent service here.
I would really like them to be recognized by their managers or the head office as they’re doing what other restaurants fail to do. Excellent work!

I don’t usually write reviews for fast food restaurants because, for the most part, you know what to expect. This A&W at Strawberry Hill surpassed my expectations for service and I just want to share it. It was a movie night and from the moment we walked in, there was someone at the door holding it open and greeting us. Business was brisk inside with lots of customers, but not overfilled and no lineups at the counter. They were super friendly when they took my order and even made suggestions. During our meal, we were even asked how things were… unheard of, but very welcome, in a fast food joint. I saw first hand someone on staff ready to help and clean up as soon as someone was ready to leave. And when it was our turn to go, we were taken care of for cleanup, offered goodbye treats (rootbeer lollipop! and other candies), and even offered a refill of pop to go. I left super impressed.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant I was greeted at the door. I thought that was odd for a fast food restaurant. Staff then delivered my order to the table I was seated, offered drink refills, checked up on us and opened the door again when we left.
No wonder this location get 5 star reviews. The customer service is amazing! I used a coupon for our meal and the cashier said we can keep the coupon to reuse on another visit.
As I ate, I saw staff run to the door to open the door for customers as they entered and exited the restaurant. I could not believe the dining experience I have just encountered. Definitely a model example for all restaurants to follow!
I would skip the other location on Scott Road that is (driving distance) nearby and come to this location instead.

The other reviews covers what I would say. Almost like a full service restaurant not a fast food restaurant. Great service. Food is good. Blown away.

5 stars for a chain … unthinkable… and yet so it is.

customer service is a cut above and should be a model not just for other franchises in the chain but for MOST restaurants (ie this comparison not just limited to fast food or hamburger houses of any level but full restaurants in both the family and midrange class).

My husband and I were blown away with the service we received at this location! Never had we had such amazing service from a fast food chain. From the moment we arrived the staff were checking up on us, offering refills, taking away garbage, coming around with a tray of mints or a&w

Wow! Amazing customer service. They had a door greeter and employees walking around checking on guests and offering refills. One lady came around with stickers and a lollipop for my son. The place was immaculately clean and the food was fresh and delicious. So refreshing to receive such service at a fast food restaurant. Seriously… check this place out.

This is a step above your regular fast food. The food was good, brought right to your table. What stood out was the superior customer service of the staff. They could teach many higher priced restaurants much.

Best service I’ve experienced for a very long time. They provide restaurant quality service as a fast food place. We were greeted at the door, seating was arranged to accommodate our large group and food was brought to our table. Absolutely fantastic.

Did not expect to get the quality of service that I did.
Was greeted promptly once I entered. Was given options on my order. Cashier was off in about 10 minutes but took the time to chat with me and not rush me and my boyfriend taking out order. Our food was brought to us and was freshly made not sitting for hours in the back. When it was dropped off she asked if we needed anything and just said you guys might want ketchup and went to the self serve pump without hesitation and got it for us even though it was 2 feet away. Then when we were finished asked if we needed any more refills and stopped by with a tray of mints, napkins and tooth picks.
If I am anywhere near this location I would totally go out of my way to come here again!

It’s rare nowadays to find a fast food restaurant that consistently delivers excellent customer service. So far, this A&W location has does that every. single. time.
Food can take a bit longer and may seem pricier than other places (ie, McDonald’s), but in the long run it’s totally worth it as everything has always tasted delicious!

I love coming to this location because from the moment you enter to when you leave, the staff ensures that your stay is as flawless as can be, everything from opening the entrance door for you, to offering complimentary re fills, toothpicks and salt. I think they’re service has improved drastically over the past little while.
Sometimes it can get awkward when an employee comes to your table offering something or offering a service such as picking up your garbage while your face is stuffed with food but I appreciate their effort to doing anything they can to help.
Their food is one of my faves from fast food chains.
Its always an enjoyable visit here.

I love this place! I know it’s sort of strange to leave a review for a fast food chain that has many locations, but this place is really special. I just love that the staff is so kind. I went there and they treated me as if I was in a fancy restaurant! They wouldn’t even let me get up and walk my tray to the garbage bin, they insisted that they take care of it all for me. They really didn’t need to be that nice. They also walked around and asked if I needed anything, like a root beer lollipop :)
I actually am really impressed by the quality of the food there and also the presentation. My fries came in a little metal basket. It was so cute, and honestly, nicer presentation than if I were at a full service restaurant. They also keep their glasses cooled before they serve a drink to you. It’s these added touches that really make the difference.
They also serve ‘real’ breakfast, meaning actual eggs and food :) I wasn’t impressed with the coffee though, that was terrible. But the service, presentation and food quality makes up for it :)
