I was well away from home when I stopped here for lunch. Every once in a while you hit a spot that would compel you to drive long distances to dine at because they are that crazy good! This isn’t one of them. Its a very clean place. Everything looks new. Hard wood floors. Not the usual environment my Phở is served in. Sort of reminded me of a small White Spot. I looked at the menu and was distracted by a picture of the spring roll combo. Now when I think of spring rolls my mind immediately wanders to the spring rolls served at Boa Chau. Its my brains default for spring rolls so involuntarily I barked out spring roll combo! Service was fast, 1 fried spring roll, 1shrimp salad roll and one pork salad roll. Tried the fish sauce. It should have been called ginger sauce. Never had anything like it. No flavour of fish sauce or vinegar really but strong ginger flavour. I looked for fish sauce but none on the table. That made me think the food had been dumbed down for western tastes. This can happen sometimes when Vietnamese shacks serve a non Vietnamese clientele. Because the majority of westerners have very immature palates that are easily offended by fish sauce, fish, fermentation, anchovies, spice, heat and, well flavour. So yeah, I should have known the peanut sauce would tast like no name smooth peanut butter blended with hoison. The rolls salad themselves were simple, Not pleasingly simple just simple. Like shrimp, vermicelli and lettuce. They were not bad. With the ginger dip and a little kraft smoothy on them they got better. I would have added some chili garlic to all of it had there been some. The Pork spring roll was lettuce, vermicelli and a british banger I think? The spring roll was the best of the 3 and actually tasted pretty good until you compared it to the ones at Boa Chau which kick its sorry little butt on both size and flavour. So all in all? If the flavour and plethora of foreign ingredients in Vietnamese food summon more of your courage than you care to spare, I think you might really like this place!

Great prices but I think that they are quantity over quality. I order takeout from here occasionally but orders have been inconsistent lately. CHECKYOURORDER before leaving because they most likely forgot something or the order is not correct. I order PHO without onions and there is always onions. I order salad roll without ham and there is always ham it them. They are very fast at preparing orders but maybe a bit too fast because they seem to usually forget something.

I come to this place a lot, specially at night time with my boyfriend. I really like their night time staff but their morning shift staff is literally nightmare. I went to this place on Sunday afternoon 11am with my boyfriend. I don’t see any of the regular staff and just a lady with short hair. She placed us at the booth and that’s it. No water, no ordering and we seat there like 2 fools for more than 15mins. I called that lady couple times and she keeps saying«yay, yay“And then another couple came in and the lady server them water and took their orders immediately… I am like WTH??? I told that lady i would like to order my food and get some water, She again said«yay, yay» and turned around and go serve other table !!! I am like«AREYOUKIDDINGME???» My boyfriend got like super pissed and i just brought the menu to the front desk and tell them the service is horrible and i cant take it and i left. Myself, am as well a part time waitress. I swear to god the service on that day is unacceptable and horrible. I am aiming it to the Sunday morning server. To be fair, the servers from other shift are adorable and sweet. I never tip them under 15% and most of the time i tipped them more then that. i mean one horrible experience defiantly ruin the whole thing. i am not going back to that place anytime soon.

Mango bubble tea! As far as phở goes in Surrey this place isnt the best, but it’s pretty good. The staff are not really comment worthy, they don’t really talk to you, they just point at things and bring your food. The phở is decent but a little stingy on the meat side. They bring you plenty of vegetables as well. Spring rolls are meh… certainly not as good as many of the restaurants in Vancouver proper. We might visit again, but not much takes us to this area of Surrey and honestly i wouldnt make a trip.

Good prices, meat slices ample in their phở. tasty. went there late at night around 10 pm. easy to get to. don’t miss this phở next time you need a place to eat in Surrey. Ample walking space and the restaurant dont feel crowded.

I dropped in for lunch, the service was fairly quick, and the place was quite busy. I have to admit that I was disappointed with the Phở. I’m not a connoisseur of Phở, but I found the stock watery, with not much flavour. Having said that they were generous with the meat and vegetables. But Phở is all about the stock — and I was disappointed. They also have very slow wifi — about 1.5Mpbs when I checked it. You have to ask the server for the password. As a comparison my cell phone gets 15Mpbs.

Been here a handful of times, usually for phở with beef balls and lemongrass chicken. We always thought the food was pretty good, but this last time my mom got food poisoning!!! Will NOT be going back here.

We decided to have lunch here with a colleague. We had 2 #9s(steak slices and meat balls) and 1 grilled pork sandwich. All about Phở is an «okay» Vietnamese restaurant all around. I’ve been to almost 10 different similar restaurants and All About Phở simply didn’t measure up. Their service was fairly slow, our waitress had her thump in my soup(didn’t say anything, even though I should have), and they didn’t even check if wanted water or anything else. However, they do have decent Vietnamese sandwiches but that’s about. We might visit again to see if they do better. I will update this review if they do better(hopefully).

We’ve been in many phở restaurants and this one is the best vietnameas restaurant we’ve been in. The place looks good and inviting, the service is great and most important the food is delicious, defiantly my favourite by far

I have the chicken, shrimp and rice plate with a spring roll. It was good enough, but had I read the previous reviews I would have skipped this place. Service is not great, but is it ever at a true phở joint?

Another great meal at lunch today. The spring roll wasn’t burning hot that I was able to eat it right away. The noodle and soup was delicious.

Their chef keeps changing, and because this place doesn’t seem to put their customers first — as they love to parrot & plaster on the wall for everyone to see — their food changes with every chef, unfortunately. The lemongrass marinated chicken is now soaked in a nasty, sweet sauce with absolutely no Asian spices or herbs. The shrimp seem to get smaller & smaller. Their vegetables are nowhere near as fresh as they used to be. Seriously, any idiot could turn out crappy, sweet, grilled chicken with a sauce that comes from a bottle. Drive a few blocks to Phở 99& receive much better food, exponentially better service AND much larger portions, all of which costs us a little bit less than this sad excuse of a Vietnamese noodle place. Yes, miserable wench who works here, your customers DO notice that you put little to no effort into making & keeping customers happy. Which is why we’re now avoiding this place like a bad case of crack-@ss.

I only go to this phở place because it is close to my work. The food and service is subpar. The latest dish I ordered was the bun bo hue. I felt that it was very oily compared to other bun bo hues I’ve had at other restaurants. The service is okay but it is the WORST when we have to pay the bill. When you ask for the bill they don’t print it out they tell you that you have to go up to the till and pay. They also don’t separate the bill which makes it really hard to pay if you go in a large group. So we usually end up standing at the till trying to calculate our own portions of the bill to pay. It is very frustrating! I would only recommend this place if you are in the neighbourhood and want something quick.

Worst phở ever. Better to go to Phở Hoa or mcdonalds. Actually just save your money and go to safeway and buy packages of Mr.Noodles. Too much msg, slowest service. During lunch rush you should have more than 2 servers on. Waste of time and money!!! I dont even want to give them a star. Ill give them a finger

I suppose the Phở might be okay if you didn’t have to wait 20 minutes to get the condiment plate(bean sprouts and basil) to go with it. I asked and then waited another 15 minutes before it showed up. There were three servers for the restaurant, one appeared to be pretty good, one adequate, and then there was the one we had. She avoided eye contact as much as possible. It was busy, I will give you that, but it took an hour and 15 minutes to complete a lunch. The broth was only adequate, and considering there’s a great place within walking distance, I had to wonder why I bothered. The cha gio springrolls were crisp and meaty, and the salad roll was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. There is no reason for me to return. The food isn’t good enough to allow for the completely lousy service.

Now I could see these average ratings lol. Not that bad(esp since i didn’t order anything to eat) but good enough to return for the iced coffee, definitely quite the large glass. wasn’t hungry… but the dishes didn’t look appetizing. but clean enough, big booth seating, spacious, in a good area by the mall/skytrain. free parking. it is authentic.

Was craving Phở thought we would check this place out. Had the spring rolls and the seafood soup. Service was the worst I’ve ever had. Took forever to order, slow to get our food, never checked on us. Filled water on other tables but not ours. 4 tables and three workers. You do the math. Soup was decent, nothing special. I’d eat here again if I couldn’t get to my fave place.

Friday evening at 9:15pm… Restaurant was a Little Busy. Unfortunately, they seemed either understaffed or poorly organized… I had to wait, and then request to get a cup of Tea and glass of water. However, the PHO arrived less than a minute later… Followed by the garnishes; Bean Sprouts, Chili Peppers, Lime and Thai Basil. The Egg Noodles were very Large diameter, and somewhat Chewy… But, I actually enjoy them that way. The broth was favourable… Yet, perhaps not quite sufficiently favourable. And, mostly unfortunately… There was not quite enough seafood and vegetables, as other Phở restaurants that I have tried recently. Palatable… Just NOT Perfection. The Quest for the Holy Grail of PHO in the Lower Mainland… Continues. Also, I might add that the acoustics in the rather tall and cavernous dining room, make for a rather load and somewhat unpleasant auditory experience. Perhaps, the owners should consider investing in a stereo system to play either Vietnamese, or a soothing and quiet modern musical style. MIGHT give it — One more chance, one day… Just NOT anytime soon.

Not impressed, the food bland, the beef was like chewing Gum. I couldn’t complain about the service, there wasn’t any. Pretty much every table around me had a complaint about something. The place has only been open for a week or so and is filthy, food dropped all over the place as it made it’s way from the kitchen to the tables, which happens, but the staff were not busy, so don’t sit down and eat lunch, sweep it up. Definitely won’t be going back again. OK update, I might go back, to get a refund. My daughter and I have both been sick from our visit.
