A magnificent glass structure from the main road, this one has some razzle dazzle. Looks and feels like a resort, though it’s a community centre feel once you see all the program brochures at the front lobby. Invited here to play basketball once, I may not have the offensive prowness of a Jordan but the defensive skills of a Bird lol. Nice court, spacious and big. Like how there’s windows all throughout for natural light unlike those elementary/high schools gyms. And it’s truly a rec centre: even yoga, spinning classes, cardio kick box, Steve Nash probably won’t survive here lol. In addition, the gym is up to par with new equipment too. Bonus for those parents, even a child baby sitting service, with limited hours. Wondering if this was city’s tax dollars. For drop in rates like $ 3 or $ 400 for the full year, it’s well worth it for the locals here.

We’ve been coming here on a regular basis since moving to Cloverdale. It’s a new, modern facility with a number of different spaces and amenities where you can get a workout, sit and relax, have fun with the kids, or even hold a birthday party or event. The«Stay & Play» activity is our favourite. It’s great for active little toddlers who need to burn off some steam! Stay & Play takes place in a big gym where they setup lots of active toys like tumble mats, a little obstacle course, balls, hockey sticks and more. It’s fully supervised and the attendants are usually young, energetic, and more than happy to engage with the kids and ensure they have a great time. Parents also join in the fun, too! Washrooms are large, clean and tidy, and the rec centre and all amenities are fully wheelchair accessible. My only complaint? I often find myself getting hungry or thirsty and there are zero refreshments, aside from a few water fountains. It would be great if they had a canteen, coffee shop, or even vending machines where I could buy a bottle of juice, a coffee or a little snack. Address my hunger and thirst and I’ll up my review to 5 stars!

This review is based on a private rental for a birthday So my friends had a birthday party here for their twin boys and it was fantastic!!! For the birthday rental it included the following — 2 hour usage of the gym — play area in the gym with push cars, play structure with floor mats, hockey nets, soccer balls, and other fun kid toys — room with tables and chairs, flat screen tv’s, kitchen, and sitting area — attendant to make sure things are running smoothly — set up, tear down, and clean up Our attendant for the aprty was a younger girl that was probably in high school, she was there but wasn’t there as at times I noticed that she was doing her homework or some kind of project during her work time. Not very professional but she was very helpful with the kids and clean up. The only thing my friends really needed to do was to just bring in some food, snacks, drinks, and the cake and the party was ready to roll as all of the kiddies including myself had a great time. We will be going here for our daughters 2 year birthday party here for sure!!!
