EXCELLENT! Mary carries top notch produce. All of it was clearly labeled if it came from their garden, local farms or was imported. Everything not from their farm gave the specific location it came from. They carried just about everything I needed. I bought a wide variety of things. The produce lasted exceptionally long, the berries were still fresh over a week later. Best of all, although everything in BC was hyper-expensive, the total bill for everything was surprisingly cheap. Wish I could go back, but we were visiting from the states.

Mary’s got herself one magical Garden. With bins upon barrels of fruits and veggies grown right in her own back yard, it’s no wonder the produce there tastes so impressive — it’s *fresh* and(ghasp!) local! And, rest assured, if Mary doesn’t grow it herself, she will find the season’s finest from the Okanagan. The best of BC berries, an abundance of apple varieties, and herbs that put my piddly rooftop garden to shame, this is what Mary carries.** Aren’t sure of what to buy, when? Not to worry — a great big blackboard hangs over the registers to let you know what’s in season now, and what’s coming up. Can’t make it there to find out? Not to worry — Mary’s on the old internets, too. With regular updates to her Facebook page, a person will always know what’s good at Mary’s. Not only is Mary’s Garden the best in terms of selection, price, and care, but the people who work there are just so damn nice, too. Must be Mary’s magic touch. **rhyming is always intentional.

If you enjoy farm fresh BC produce, this is about as good as it gets ! The smell of basil in the air, veges coming fresh off the fields, and most of them with no sprays. Bunches of flowers and herbs bundled up from the garden… Vancouverites take note that we have this wonderful farm stand/store with huge bins of fruit from the Okanagan, maybe 5 or 6 varieties of apples & tomatoes. Mary’s own corn is to die for. Squashes of every shape and size. Believe me, it is is worth the drive out to South Surrey and to support this local BC business. closed Sundays

Came across Mary’s Garden in the BC Farm Fresh Guide, when the wife had a hankerin’ for leeks. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we found a nice store packed with local and imported produce. Mary’s grows a number of veggies on site, which are clearly labelled as «Mary’s own» and some are labelled as «no spray». Imported produce was both from the Okanagan and from outside the country. Bottom line: we were impressed with the fresh, quality fruits and veggies at bargain prices.

Mary’s Garden is a wonderful little ‘old-style’ produce /farmer’s market. Many vegetables and herbs are grown right there. Lots of «no spray’ items available, plus they carry dairy, bread and lots of specialty products. Great family business that’s been around for decades. Closed Sundays.
