As usual, good location in this Cloverdale plaza, quite massive but in the corner. Neat counter bar style. Friendly service. One of the newer models, brick tiling.

I class this McDonald’s as a separate restaurant chain. It’s slow, it’s dirty, and as much as I understand that it’s low wage high school kids working there so expectations need to be managed. It’s still McDonald’s… The other locations have figured it out with the same limitations: The whole point to McDonald’s is reliability and standards. Which this location does not clearly. Then on another note which I’m sure they have zero control over but it’s full of high school kids loitering and taking up all the seats.

We stopped at this McD’s due to needing a bathroom break & to get a snack for the road. The first thing I noticed was that there was no changing table in the women’s restroom. Well, that’s not super helpful for a place that caters to small kids. However, the 3 flies that kept trying to land on me in the brief time I was in the stall was unappealing for a restaurant to have flies at all. I exited and my best guess is that the changing table was in the«handicap/wheelchair access» restroom which was currently occupied by a elderly gentleman who fit neither of those descriptions. My husband eventually laid down our baby in a booth and changed her. I normally frown upon this but I wasn’t sure what to do as the bathroom was occupied the entire time we sat there. We also got some food for the road and the fries were cold and the soda fountain was low on Coke. Best guess? Bad day maybe but I’m going to say based on other reviews for this location that it’s just another day!

Consistently slow service at night time and severely understaffed. I’ll find myself late after work(~11PM) being the only person in the drivethrough and waiting up to 10 minutes for a Junior Chicken to snack on while driving home. It doesn’t seem to be a fault of the crew as there’s almost nobody working with them so they’re stuck by themselves.

I wish there was a no star option. They can’t even get a double double coffee correct. The last ½ dozen times I ordered one it was so grossly bitter due to the coffee grinds at the bottom!!! Nasty! After a few coffee’s like that and breakfast biscuits that were so rock hard that I could couldn’t eat it I filled out the survey on the receipt and while the manager did contact me via email asking me to «come in for breakfast on them and discuss it with them» I heard nothing else. I politely declined as I was far too busy to «do coffee» at which they said they would mail out a gift card as an apology even when I delcined. Let’s just say it’s been a year and a half and no gift card… and I only live a 10 min walk from there. I have saved myself the stress and switched to Starbucks!
