History

Established in 2009.

From Merle’s humble beginnings in her kitchen in Santa Monica, California, we remain a

family-​run business. From skin care and color formulas — right down to almost every

compact, jar, bottle and tube — our «Made in the USA» claim is part of our integrity and

authenticity and is beyond comparison in the beauty industry.

Brand loyalty for Merle Norman products is impressively high. Research has shown that

our customers have been shoppers for an average of 14 years — remarkable for the beauty industry. Women swear by our cosmetics and appreciate the differences that set us apart such as our «Try Before You Buy» philosophy, signature makeovers and

complimentary professional makeup services conducted by friendly, knowledgeable Beauty Consultants.

Meet the Business Owner

Tara N.

Business Owner

Tara has been working in the beauty industry for the past 18 years, including 4 years at an existing Merle Norman location. She comes with 20 years of customer service background; 11 years of management and 18 years of make-​up and hair dressing experience. Tara has been certified at one of the most well known beauty colleges in Canada — Blanche Macdonald Center for Applied Design. Also, she received her certification in hair styling from John Casablanca’s Axis Hair Training school.

Tara’s clients come to see her from all areas of the mainland. She has been quoted as being, «The best at eyebrows and I won’t go anywhere else». Tara is very dedicated to her clients and her work. She looks forward to running a successful Merle Norman and hopes to see you soon
