Sachdeva Sweets & Restaurant

My husband and I joke that Sachdeva is the ‘standard’ for indian food. Every time we visit North delta we make a huge order, bring it home and freeze it so we can have it when we please.
SO GOOD!

This isn’t your typical run of the mill dessert place: they’ve got real food too. Funny how if an East Indian place has desserts, they call themselves ‘sweets’ but I digress.
And in a good way, they are considered higher-​end, Vancouver prices, not Surrey prices lol. Meaning you’re getting better quality. Their version of gulab jamun is quite moist, fluffy, though when my ball hockey East Indian guys ordered this last time, there weren’t any honey. Yummy as it was.
They had a butter chicken combo with some rice, Naan and pop for $ 15 when most places would charge $ 10. Like I said, quality.
And it’s date worthy, in a cozy sense. Won’t have the lights and glamour of Tasty Indian lol, where it’s more of a club, Earl’s or Milestones ambience but here, it’s a compact store.

This place is amazing. Dahi Papdi for 5 bucks, cant ask for anything more. Plus the owner is a cool dude. Highly recommended.
