The Bridge At Fraser Downs

Do you really love
Watching horses race? Hope so,
cause the food ain’t good!
The servers are kind,
but running around like mad —
let the horses race!
This place is fun, but
they could turn it up a notch.
Or ten. Or any.

My husbnd and I went to the Bridge at Fraser Downs yesterday for the first time and what a disappointment! They say on their website: «The Bridge features the casino menu and an exclusive new menu, plus fully serviced restaurant and bar seating.» which would be nice if you could actually get a server. The place was only occupied by 3 or 4 tables with a couple of people per table that were just nursing their drinks so we were expecting nio issues with service. We say patiently for close to 20 min total to get the server to come and take our order with no luck. When she did enter the Bridge all she did was stay in the back room or serve the first couple of tables that were close to her. Even though we were in full sight at all times and even waved at her in hopes of getting her attention she ignored us. Funny thing is I actually got eye contact with her shortly after we seated ourselves but that didn’t help. After 20 min with ZERO service we left. As we were leaving and walking right past the server she had the nerve to say «Hello» to which I replied «No, actually it’s goodbye». Even after my husband told her that this was our first time at the Bridge and that we waited for 20min, etc… her only response was a half hearted «Oh y… I’m sorry» So that was our first and last time at the Bridge which is a shame since we recently moved into the area.
